And £25 for a new Sky remote after DH had a temper tantrum with it and broke it:mad:.
.
I have a dh like that, normally very placid but gets rather annoyed with technology! Have got through a number of sky remotes! Got out last one from amazon for about £15 thoMtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950 -
Unfortunately we couldn't possibly wait to get one delivered!
And we had the same problem with the new one until he let me have a go with it. It turned out the interactive wasn't working because he was recording (the same thing - British Grand Prix) on 2 sides. Cancel one and hey presto! it worked. (and it only cost me £25!) He never did watch the side he didn't watch live either:mad:Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Haha I could have written that about my DH!!!!! They sound very similar! I punished him last time making him stand up and use the buttons on the sky box when he wanted to change channels
while we waited for delivery

Am just making a giant jaffa cake for DD1s birthday cake for her sleepover tomorrow.
Became an aunty again last night, my poor mum now has 3 out of 4 of her granddaughters with birthdays on just 2 consecutive days! I also have my other niece & nephew in the same week!
The sun is out and should last for the weekend:T. Hope everyone has a nice one.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Lovely weekend with DD1s friends over for her birthday.
Spent £28 for them to see Despicable Me 2 at the cinema & £25 extra on sweets and drinks which I will take from spare money in current account rather than this weeks grocery budget as I'll never catch up with myself.
£32 spent on 2 new dresses for DD1 and me for hols - holiday clothes pot is now -£113 eeekkk! Realistically will need to use second job money to fill this back up.
DD2 had transfer day yesterday into yr 6 and got the teacher we wanted. DD1 did so well with him when she had him so hopefully DD2 is get on as well.
Looking out of my office window at all the sunshine - hope it lasts for the weekend.Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Just booked DD2 onto a tennis coaching course in the hols - £30. She mentioned she'd like a go after seeing Andy Murray win! It's 10am - 12.30pm every day for a week, that's going to take some juggling. Just as well I work for DH and kind of tell them when I'm working!
That's part of next weeks second job money gone already!!! (and it was supposed to top up the holiday clothes pot)Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Started the Couch to 5K running program today, although I chaeted a little and did it on the treadmill at the gym, better than nothing though?
Usually I only manage a couple of minutes running, but I did the whole 8mins within the 30min program. Just need to motivate myself to go on Friday. I usually only go on Mon & Wed.
Booked an excursion for out cruise in August. We dock in Ijmuiden (for Amsterdam) and it's 2 buses or bus/train combo to get to Amsterdam. I daren't risk it. So £200 later we are going on a City Tour & visit to Anne Franks Museum.
All other ports seem doable DIY - St Peter Port, Vigo, Lisbon, Bilbao & Le Havre if anyone has any advice/experience?Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Online food shop done - £74.38, including 6 bottles of wine! I'd already spent £65 when T£$c0 e-mailed a £13 off £90, I was going to ignore it when I remembered they'd also got £5 off when you spend £25 on french wine. We're not big drinkers or connoisseurs so I managed 6 x £4odd bottles, also ended up getting 5% off 6 bottles so they cost me £5.72 extra in the end! Daughters are now saying I'm an 'extreme couponer' - not quite but glad to stock up for our coming holidays etc.
Off to Buckingham Palace Coronation Festival tomorrow so £200 withdrawn from savings in case we see anything! I'm having major problems deciding what to wear though!
