Online food shopping done and divided into 2 to use 2 £5 off £40 vouchers - came to a total of £76.31 so a little more than expected. Had to remind them that they hadn't sent me the 2nd one - but they sorted it within the hour of my e-mail- very impressed.
Prepaid half price T£sc0 delivery plan has come to an end now though:(. Hope they do another half price offer so I can sign up with my other account!
I'm in the process of setting up a $a1n$bury account in DH name so I can get another £15 off a £60 first shop next week.

Hi Megela, have been reading your MFW diary with interest and think you are doing really well! I'm still trying to convince my DH that we should try, but to be honest he's not that interested...he says I talk about our finances so much that he switches off! He has agreed I can do what I like with in reason and he will agree to sit down (around the table!) for a monthly progress meeting once a month!
You must be fairly near us I guess, from your posts about Warwick Castle. One question, I have worked out most of the survey sites you're using from your abbreviations as I'm familiar with them, but can't work out what S&S is?0 -

:hello:Hi Easylife & Muser - nice to see you. Also
:hello: to newgirly, stripes, sweetdaisy, Tilly and MCI. Thanks for thanking!
Yes S&S is Shop and Scan.
Had a very spendy weekend - £91.50 in m*t*l*n:eek: - Holiday Clothes Pot is now £86.15 in the red:eek:. Will need to make some serious savings there!
Also £20 on DD1s bedrom in Dun£1m, £5 on books in WH$ & £7 on forgotten groceries.
Easylife - well done on reading all my blathering - we're about an hour from Warwick Castle in Northamptonshire.
My DH is not that interested in finances either - he earns it and I decide where it's going - as long as he has enough when he wants it he's happy. He does get a bit annoyed at my frugal ways - mainly when he wants to go to the c0-0p on the corner to buy treats in the evening. I've tried to stock up this week when I did the weekly shop to stop him. He knows I want to be mortgage free, but we also need to balance it with home improvements & holidays/days out. He definetly wouldn't sit still long enough to listen to my plans - I have to get him stuck in one place where he can't escape - like the car!

It's not just me then :rotfl:! The car is one of the only places I can get DH to concentrate for a few minutes so that I can discuss my plans.0
