    Bit of a spendy weekend.

Felt guilty at keep saying not now to DD2 when she wanted to see OZ the Great & Powerful at the cinema at it costs a good £30 for the 4 of us. Then it hit me - she has a 13year old sister more than capable of going with her at a cost of £13.50 for the 2 of them. Dropped them of and picked them up again, then spent what I'd saved by taking us all to McDs.

DH spent £4.44 in A$da buying a £1.50 paint roller - he said he couldn't just spend £1.50 on a card - I told him he jolly well could:rotfl:

Also £30 in T£sc0 on birthday & easter presents - will need to come from 2nd job payday this week.

And £20 in a$da on a deep fat fryer - will come out of groceries budget this week, as we're eating at friends for 2 days next weekend. And £5 on a little jacket for DD2 - out of hol clothes budget.

Alowing for all of this I should just about break even this month.:rotfl:

    Still no actual MFW news!:o

Second job payday again, £40 transferred to logburner pot:), £47 left to top up current account at end of month:(.

Still I'm at zero going into the new month:)

Not been on here much as very busy with 2 businesses Payroll End of Year - hate it:mad:

Splitting myself into 3 today, 2 hours at one job, 2 hours training at the other, then back to the first for another 2/3 hours. And my poor DD2 gets to drag along with me.:(

Proper job pay later today so will update proper MFW news then!

Need to get off here and get on!

Payday done - £300 OP to mortgage - knocked another month off - now March 2031.

£175 sent to holiday pot, £75 to xmas pot, £14.25 to car tax pot & £5 to goddaughters pot.

En-suite is nearly finished - very glamorous. Window in there & bedroom currently being fitted, DD1 rang me to say there are 'holes in the house'!
Off to MK shopping with DDs tomorrow, out for dinner at friends Sat & Sun.

    Have a good Easter everyone:easter_ba

I've decided to reduce the food budget by £10 to £80 per week. This week I spent £20 on a deep fat fryer & £61.65 on food. Had a T£$co £5 off voucher luckily.

Had a spendy day out shopping yesterday - £15 each on presents for easter for DDs (DD1 has a reduced Cath Kidston bag & DD2 had a BuildaBear - she bought the clothes), £52 on hol clothes (taken from budget), £22 on a cath kidston bag (reduced in factory shop), £11 in lakeland (love that shop) £11.50 on haircut for DD1. I'm sure there was more as bank balance looks a bit more worse for wear.

Planning to go to Warwick Castle with Merlin Passes on Monday as Horrible Histories are there & a re-enactment camp. Taking a picnic - should only cost £6 parking.

Spent most of Easter Sunday at A&E with DH, he complained of chest pains on saturday and when he then had shortness of breath on sunday morning as well, we rang 111 who told us to go to A&E.

While there he got a lot worse and I was really panicked. They ran all sorts of tests and it turned out he'd strained muscles in his chest then suffered a big panic attack which made things a lot worse.

Luckily there is nothing wrong with him, but we missed out on dinner at friends and MIL had to look after children all day. We also didn't get to Warwick Castle today.

    Just glad he's OK.

Just OPd £10 from *maz0n voucher earnt from 1ps0s surveys.

Got DD1 working with me yesterday & today, we have a lot of very boring computer downloading to do which she is more than capable of and loves the idea of earning her own money. Starting her young!

Hi, glad you dh is ok, my dh suffered from panic attacks last year and he said it really feels like you are having a heart attack :( scary.

Let me know what you think of Warwick castle , we went before Xmas last year, and I was surprised how expensive it is to get in full price.

Hi Froggy, Newgirly & MCI, Thanks for all your best wishes, DH did indeed feel exactly like he was having a heart attack and at 40 this was really worrying. Hopefully it won't happen again, and if it does we'll know what do to to save bothering the hospital.

Newgirly - my DDs enjoyed Warwick Castle, but I think they are a bit younger (13 & 10) than yours and not so into the big rides of Thorpe Park or Alton Towers. Horrible Histories are there over Easter (& other holidays) and they really wanted to go and see them. We're trying again Sunday, but yes I wouldn't want to pay full price either, less than an hours drive, £6 to park and a picnic makes a cheap day out for us though.

Also claimed a £10 S&S *rgos voucher today so that will be OPd when it arrives.
