  • Wow...£800 cheaper is a big saving on the en-suite - snapping hands off come to mind.

Very annoying about the payout - don't really have the problem as I never seem to have time for surveys etc..., but I can imagine being very frustrated with them.

  • Oooh - ensuite, ensuite :j I'd love a little ensuite in our guest room. It would make life so much easier when the DS's come to stay with their girlfriends. 3 boys + 1 girl + 1 bathroom = dooable, 3 boys +3 girls + 1 bathroom = chaos! You've inspired me to make that our next big project - once we finally get to our savings goal :o

2nd job payday (a day late due to hospital apt earlier in week) - £45 transferred to logburner pot (now £805) & £25 left in current account to ensure we start March with a zero balance.

    £14.75 - Car tax pot, £75 - xmas pot, £5 goddaughters 21st pot.

Online food shopping done at T£sc0 - £80. Balance for holiday clothes pot - £10 but.....dress for holiday ordered from Land$£nd using a discount code found late last night on grabbit board - £10 off £10 order. Cost - £6.45 incl postage for a £25 dress. So just £3.50 transferred to hol clothes pot - total now £220.

DD1 is sitting her first GCSE in core science this morning - she's only in year 9. She'd got herself really worked up this morning so I hope she's OK. Just told her to try her best that's all she can do - she just seems rather young to be starting GCSEs to me.

Thanks MCI, she reckons she didn't do very well which isn't good for her moral when she has another tomorrow. Tried to tell her she'd probably done better than she thinks.

    £10 hal1fax shuffle done.

Bought vinyl flooring for en-suite - black mosaic effect - tiny tiny room so cost me the grand total of £25.90! Also picked black sparkly aquaboard for shower cubicle instead of tiles. DH has also decided we'll get the window replaced in en-suite & bedroom! This was in the plan for this year but not yet.

Bought niece's birthday present in sale, Tea trolley reduced from £19.99 to £7.99.

Need to renew DHs passport - it's 3 years out of date - photo cost me £5 alone! £72.50 cost will be funded from this weeks 2nd job payday.

Succumbed to takeaway on Sat night while watching Skyfall so that was £22.

Need to tighten belts now for rest of month! (and it's only the 4th - nearly 4 weeks to go:eek:)

    Mortgage payment/interest day!

Interest added of £246.82 - offset saved me £76.43.

Regular payment of £677 made so mortgage now stands at £103872.92. Just over £100 needed to knock another month and waiting for £40 1poll payment so nearly half way there.

DD1 sitting other part of her GCSE this morning - she seems a lot more relaxed about it today though.

Second job payday but needs to be put aside to pay for DH passport so no transfer to savings.:(

Reported a balance of £103872.92 to MFiT challenge. Should put me in the green.:)

After having reported I then received £40 from 1poll and have OPd it, so already started towards next quarters payments.:T

Online shopping completed with Mr S with a £10 new customer voucher - £75 so £15 transferred to hol clothes pot - now £235.

DH has booked lunch out on Sunday for Mothers Day, jointly with his brother - there will be 12 altogether! Although he has picked a 'mothers eat free' restaurant, so something must be going in!!
