Hi Megala, we went without the kids to Warwick castle as we were away for the weekend without them! I don't know if you are already aware but when we went we parked in the car park there but ended up wandering out through a little doorway on the way back to the main car park to look around the town , and there is a little pay and display literally the other side of the doorway at Warwick castle. Hope that made sense :D

Thanks Newgirly - that sounds a LOT cheaper than the £6 Warwick Castle charge - will look out for it on Sunday.

Actual MFW news today, standard payment of £677 made, interest added of £272.09, knocking another month off - now February 2031.

    OPs of £1.25 from £co & £10 H*l1f*x reward - possibly the last one.

Second job payday, some kept in current account to top up after last weeks spending spree - £60 transferred to logburner fund - £955.

Online food shop done - £73.56 so £6.50 transferred to Holiday Clothes Pot. It took a bashing of £75.35 last weekend so now stands at £176.15.

En-suite finally seems to be finished after 3 weeks, so hopefully will get bedroom back to normal this weekend. Out on Sat eve to friends which we cancelled last week, and Warwick Castle on Sunday.

    Have a good weekend everyone

Had a lovely weekend. Yesterday at Warwick Castle was really enjoyable. Cost £6 to park, and £3.20 (with annual pass discount) for 2 cups of tea. Also remembered to get our Merlin pass free hot drinks after 3pm.

Went to 1kea on way home and spend £56 on bathroom cabinet & accessories for en-suite.

Had a mad spending day today. But good value I think. 2 nights in a Trav£L0dg£ at mayday weekend while we visit Mercedes Benz world for DH to do his driving experience he had for his birthday last year & Chessington on Merlin passes - £46 for 2 nights for all 4 of us.

Also £39 on trains to London for DH birthday this year & £28 for another Trav£L0dg£. Planning to do Madame Tussauds, London Eye & Aquarium - all on Merlin Passes.

All done through £co & paid for from my second job wages this week which will be larger than normal due to overtime for processing PAYE end of year.

MFW news - £10 voucher claimed from VO.

£25.12 received from 1poll cashback and OPd - have now cancelled this one as payout was £25 and most of cashback was for bingo/gambling sites which I won't do. Spent weeks making that up from 1p & 2p click throughs. Have joined £co and already had a payout last week and expecting another this week! Also earnt on trains & hotels yesterday - why haven't I used this one before?

A massive 52p interest found in an old account which has been OPd as well.

£1.40 received from £co so OPd - it'll be a long time to go at this rate!

Online food shop done at T£$c0 - £75.78 so £5 transferred to holiday clothes pot, DD1 spent £30 on holiday clothes yesterday so £30 transferred back - now stands at £95.15.

Not much planned for weekend - DD2 swimming in gala on saturday night - oh the exciting life we lead! And that's about it at the minute.

And another £23 out of holiday clothes pot for a dress for DD2. You don't know how pleased I am to find a dress that she will actually wear - she won't wear skirts/dresses at all but MIL is taking her away in May and is insisting she has a dress for 'evening'! Will also be nice for our cruise too!

Was a bit more than I wanted to pay but if she'll wear it it'll be worth it. Sent DH a picture of her in it - he said he didn't recognise her in a dress!
