    Didn't realise it had been a week since I updated - think it's a mid-month slump!

Second job payday today but being left in current account to fund mothers day last weekend.

Online food shop done with 0cad0 this week, £20 off £80 first food shop. It came to about £70 so that should be a £20 transfer to hol clothes pot. Have now run out of first customer vouchers:( until M0rr1£0n£ decides to up its game and do online shopping.

DD1 had her minor op on monday and surprised me with her positive attitude, she hasn't complained at all and I'm very proud of her. She was giggling as she went under, and as she came round.

En-suite work starts on Monday, along with en-suite & bedroom window being replaced - £580. Although everytime DH sees builder he thinks up something else for him to look at so I have no idea of the final price!

He's also booked him in to do lounge/diner when we're away in August to avoid all the mess:) (we had planned this for last year) and has spoken to a kitchen company he deals with about a kitchen (not planned until next year). We'll have a whole new house at this rate.:) We have the savings ready, it just offsets the mortgage at the mo.

Had planned to go to Chessington on our Merlin Passes on sunday for the annual pass weekend, but they've cancelled due to not being ready to open:(, still it gives DH a chance to strip out en-suite ready for builder.

Wow - that was a long post - sorry:o (and no MFW news either)

    Agree with the mid-month slump...

Well done to your DD for being so brave.

Was on the BBC web-site that morri$ons are going to to start online shopping - so sure to be a flurry of vouchers for that.

They'll be no £20 transfer to hol clothes as I've just bought a Te$c0 3 month delivery plan half-price using code DDVRJ found on groceries board. £18 for as many deliveries as I want for the next 3 months! Will get that back in 3 weeks, then save on delivery for 10 weeks, I can also use the more expensive delivery slots that I usually try to avoid.

Although I think I've missed a week as I won't use it until next week:mad: Should've waited as it doesn't run out until 31/3:mad: Jumped in too quick!

0cad0 shop only came to £66.40, so with the £18 for advance T£sc0 delivery package I have approx £5 left over for transfer to hol clothes pot. Now £240.

Builders:mad: so far taken 3 days to plasterboard and skim tiny en-suite. I'm sleeping in a building site meanwhile. They'll be finished next Thursday:mad:.

Just ordered 6 Thorntons Personalised Easter Eggs T £3.25 each, had to order a packet of fudge to get free delivery. Total £20.29.
Might need to pay for this with the 2 hours overtime I've done with 2nd job this week.

Second job payday, £50 transferred to logburner fund - £855. £20 left behind to pay for bargain thorntons eggs.

Started up £co cashback account and earnt £1.69 cashback. It tracked the purchase as £16.91 not £20.29? No idea why but hardly worth making a fuss over. The old cashback site I used wanted £25 before paying out. Is there a minimum before £co payout?

No actual MFW news - it is really quiet this month for the extra little payments.

    Hi megela

Sometimes the amount tracks without vat, but that is down to the company you have purchased off, not £co.

If you have just set it up then they have a £5 charge per annum which comes off cashback - from then on you can set your payout amount on your account (mine is £1).

    Log burner fund looking good!

That explains it, so I need to investigate earning another £3 before I get any cashback. Still it's better than trying to earn £25 before payout I guess.

Online food shop done - £9 under budget and transferred to holiday clothes pot - £250. Planning on taking girls shopping on Good Friday so may well spend some of it then.

No movement on the en-suite - it's plastered and the shower & shower have arrived but that's it. Oh and our electrics are in a state and need sorting too:eek:, another £120 approx.

Covering of snow here this morning - stopped for now but we are expecting more today & tomorrow.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
