Online food shopping completed - only £64 this week as raided freezer. £10 transferred to holiday clothes pot, and £16 towards takeaway chinese tomorrow while both girls sleeping out and we are 'flatpacking' Saturday night. What an exciting life I lead!

My virtual pots consist currently consist of:
SHORT TERM SAVINGS: Holiday, DD2s money, Xmas 2013, Car Tax, Goddaughters 21st, Holiday Clothing, Log Burner, Lounge Carpet, School Trip, CTC, London Trip & Scout Uniform!
MEDIUM TERM SAVINGS: Hallway Renovations, Lounge Renovations, October Holiday, DD2s Bedroom Window, DD2s New Bed.
LONG TERM SAVINGS: All other savings for the long term, sort of permanently offsetting the mortgage - no particular reason although might turn into a kitchen, en-suite or car (if DH gets his way)!

£9 OP just made due to using more M&$ vouchers.

Very unproductive weekend. Supposed to be putting DD2s new bed together - seems we are missing some vital screws:mad:. We have twice the amount of one sort, and none of another.. They're not even the sort you can buy locally. Think I need to go over to the Praise, Rant & Warnings board!

DD2 has made a camp up on her bedroom floor on her mattress. She was so disappointed when she came back from her sleepover on Sunday - she'd expected it all to be ready for her!:(

Standard mortgage payment day and interest added of £275.78, bringing total owed below £105K!!!:j

Need to take DD1 to see consultant at hospital today to see about having 4 teeth taken out. Ouch! The dentist referred her to hospital as she can then have it done all at once under general anaesthetic.

£10 *rg0s voucher received from VO - so OPd to mortgage.

Second job payday not til tomorrow as I was a day late doing the wages due to hospital apt.

Missing screws for bed arrived in post Tuesday morning, so we were both home early Tuesday evening and got the main structure built. Just need to finish drawers and backing. She's sleeping in it though and over the moon.:)

2nd job payday - £60 saved to pay for coronation festival tickets.

Online food shop done £81.21 so £8 saved to holiday clothes pot - £186.50.

I spend so much less doing the food shop online, I can meal plan better as I can check what I have, I forget less and therefore don't pop out for milk and spend £20, and if I go over budget I can easily cut back. You can't very well put stuff back after it's gone through the checkout!
