Hi Cleggie - Keep on keeping on! Even if you do overspend, you're still not spending as much as you would have done before the GC, and you're thinking about what you spend your money on instead of just handing it over to the sm
Do your boys prefer sweet or savoury?
Would they eat jam sandwiches to 'put them off' until tea time?
How about marmite or peanut butter sandwiches?
Some fruit or even raw veggies?
Our DD2 went to school for a good number of years just having a toasted teacake and chocolate spread for breakfastShe's still alive and kicking
What I'm trying to say is, that if they're eating a good balanced dinner each evening, then don't worry too much about the rest of the time - they'll eat whatever is there if they're hungry enough
Chin up!
Flo - Congrats on the win :T Looking forward to the new/old recipes

I had to spend £1.49 on 2 litres of milk from the local shop today! Still I guess it was cheeper than driving 6 miles there and back (12miles) to Mr T, just for milk."Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte

Gosh, have been away for a few days and come back here for a catch up and 16 pages you lot have gossiped through!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, haven't had time to catch up on it all but just wanted to let you know (sorry if it has already been mentioned) but they have 5kg of basmati rice in Lidl for £4.99 - couldn't see a finish date though, just said 'whilst stocks last'. Thanks MrsCD. Yeah they prefer sweet stuff. They (especially my youngest) will happily eat a jam sandwich ,fruit, yogurt, crisps and choccie bar whist waiting for dinner to be cooked, and then eat all of that too! Honestly, he is as skinny as a rake, so god knows where he puts it all :rotfl:
