Spent £11 in savers on toiletries stock up and £1.50 on some lovely rolls from Greggs.
DD Made HM burgers for herself and DS's dinner and I used the rest of the mince to make a HUGE chilli for myself and DH. Ds and Dd were chopping the peppers (more like hacking and pulling apart) so it was a proper production line. Made 10 portions so pleased with that.

Spend of just under £40 today . To be honest could have probably only spent around £10 if we had gone for the absolute necessaries. However I do believe ice cream is a a necessity. A scoop with something over it keeps me away from big bars of chocolate! :rotfl:
He wanted his biscuits to fill his biscuit barrel. Once again the OH was with me and was distracted!May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far

Went to a!di today to pick up a couple of things and ended up spending nearly £60
Admittedly most of the super6 were things we'd eat and we don't have tons of veg left so that was worth adding to the fridge/freezer. Plenty of baking bits as well because I seem to be hooked on baking at the moment... micropuds, peanut butter cookies, twinks hobnobs, sponge cakes - all have come out of my oven this week!
And a few things from the random stuff they always sell - dehumidifer pouch, trailer lock, gardening clogs for OH - which are all things that we have a need for but didn't know I'd be able to pick up when I left the house this morning. For the time being I'll leave that lot on the grocery budget but if things get a bit tight towards the end of the month, I might move it across to the household goods stuff which is where they'd be if I bought them separately from a grocery shop.
Reckon I'm at about £150/£200 for this month but the cupboards are heaving so that should do me till nearly the end of the month if not right through...0 -

Sorry craigywv but the description of your OH all excited had me in giggles! But wow what a wonderful shop and too find a fiver, well even better. Hope you had room in your freezer for it all!
Couple of NSDs here, but will ask OH to get eggs on his way home I think. We have some ravioli for tea tonight, will whizz up some tomato sauce later. Will used some tinned veg to go with it I think as we're nearly out of salad, but we're going away next week so don't want to buy too much fresh stuff.
All the pics are making me very hungry, is it wrong to fancy lasagne at this time? Ahhh I'm pregnant, I'm sure I can get away with it
Hope everyone has a good day:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
