If you can get any Skin so soft body oil from Avon its a fantastic insect repellant and literally has 101 uses! http://www.beckysbiz.com/skinsosoft.htm

Thanks Angel - I'd forgotten about that, for some reason I thought they'd stopped making it!

Proud to report a NSD today - Tuesdays used to be a £15 spend on lunch and coffee, but I'm now taking my own sandwiches and making cups of tea! Very pleased with myself!

Appr*ved F**ds delivery arrived today! :j Who'd have thought I'd get so excited about a load of just out of date food? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The store cupboard is well and truly bulging now - that will do us for a good while, and most of it came out of the second purse, so not on the grocery budget for this month! My only difficulty is, I've 'liked' them on facebook, and they keep updating with their latest offers ... very hard to resist!

Mushroom soup again for dinner - and probably tomorrow as well, unless I get bored and freeze it!

Have a good evening all :)

I have made a small investment in the two takeaway secrets books, cant wait for them to come. Not only do i have my nephew with shingles, my youngest child has been sent home from school sick.
Hopefully the books will help to cut down spends in the eating out department.
Oh you poor thing! My daughters have both had shingles, and it's horrible. We keep supplies of cold sore cream in so that if they think it's going to flare up they catch it before it gets a hold (it's the same virus thingy). Apparently the first 24 hours are crucial.

It's also good to spray on your arms if you're painting and decorating. The paint splashes just rub off afterwards. :)

hi need help here pls...............defrosted ys pork mince this morn to make pork and apple burgers its all mixed up in the bowl in fridge, do i cook them and freeze for when need them, or do i refreeze uncooked pls help thanks.

Craigywv - you need to cook first then re-freeze. You shouldn't really re-freeze uncooked meat that has already been frozen :)

You could make a pork and apple plait with some puff pastry - like a big sausage roll :) (if you didn't think burgers would work)
