Has any EXISTING customer STILL IN A CONTRACT managed to take advantage of this offer?
My contract is still a few months from ending.....0 -

probably not worth getting your ladders out to cover your lnb but i suppose you'd get a new box though if there wasn't one hanging around, just like getting a new modem every time you change broadband or a new mobile everytime you change contracts,;)0 -

I've just tried twice and got knocked back, i used to be a customer about 12 months ago but they keep saying your not a freesat customer.
If you get a scottish woman called Yyvonne just hang up she was really snotty
I stressed i was a freesat customer etc etc
No joy.
I wonder if the evening staff are less clued up?
Anyone had any success recently with this?0 -

What does this mean on HUKD:-scoopy2scoops wrote:I think what i'm going to do is take the 12 months 1/3 off deal and then cancel (or threaten to cancel) and then get the 6 months 1/2 deal there always offering for ex customerr.
That way over 18 months i'll have saved £300 on the full package
The total cost for the 18 Months will be around £478 mark or £26 odd a month
Not bad!0 -
My contract is actually up with Sky so after 45 mins on the phone and them telling me there are no offers on - I have cancelled.
It gets switched off on the 14th April.
2 questions -
Should I apply for the new offer today?
Can I have it as multi-room and pay the extra?0 -
Oh my god i finally got lucky 4th time - my advice is call after 8:00pm the evening shift are not as clued up
Say your a freesat customer and you received the leaflet through the door
you have your box but you've lost your viewing card
They will send you out a new one
I said my fictious son had probably pulled the card out of the box and it had got lost, i'm never going to heaven!! :A

I have had MAJOR problems installing SKY ... but they offered me 6 months free compensation ... I am a new customer.0

maybe i am the odd one out here...i did actually recieve the free month and i am a skyview customer! and yet it has taken me nearly 2hours of calling various departments to actually take up this offer, aparantly because of the high demand they are being extra carefull and there is no record of me being a skysat customer.....despire the fact i am sat infront of the tv watching it as i speak to them!
anyway various threats and customer services threats have finally got me the offer i was rightfully entitled to anyway!!!!
my advice.....keep pestering, dont give up!!! 2hours it took me and i am entitled ! in the end they were not even fussed they just set me up as a new subscriber and said forget about what has happened in the past they are sending me out a new card, sorted!0
