What makes it even worse is if i had n't changed to sky+ my old contract was about 2 years old!!!

Sky should keep a check on what area's they sent these free trials too and if the customer has got Freesat already.
If they dont do these checks then who can blame people for getting half price Sky.
The interesting thing will be if Sky check later on and then try to cancel with the customers who are not in the free trial area or didnt have Freesat but if they dont then good luck to whoever gets it :beer:

Can anyone confirm that they have got the freesat deal and then cancelled their old sky subscription without ony problems, i.e "excuse me mr.x but we see you've just joined our freesat deal" opps!

third time lucky, spoke to this guy this morning, said I didn't have letter but was told to quote "free trial" - he put through my order! It helped I wasn't at home so proceeded with new card and went everything went through!!!!

Now time to disconnect old broadband and try for free one.
