Don't have a dish installed
Used to be a customer til I moved last year and then chucked it.
I have the old sky box.
I asked for the special offer that my "colleague" had told me of.
The woman was very helpful and said that the offer they dealt with was for people with equipment only.
However, she gave me this number 0870 6061111 and said that I could get 1/3 off all sky packages for the first year with free installation and a new box. Also said that if I asked the man nicely he might install the old box in the bedroom.
Seems not too bad a deal. £29 for the complete sky world package.
that seems a fab idea as one guy here has gone for the £21.75 package and still has to buy his Box, Dish/LNB and get it fitted......
This works out at the equivalent of £21.75/month full package + £87 for a new full kit, fitted with warranty0 -
I rung up and got it first time..said i had been away for a few months and misses had a free trial with you and i wanted to get it for the next twelve months as a surpise for her quoting "free trial" as i had found the leaflet.
Had no problems.. all done in under 5mins!!!
Woooo whooo!0 -

The offer is on til 31st March.
Also, (I know it may sound abit sad), if you read through all the posts, some of them offer good tips and advice you can use to get this package. I read through them, and as a exsisting customer I got the deal with my same details.
i back this up - I read through all the posts on here and on hotukdeals and got it first time. I also rang the number above. I do think it depends on the customer service agent you get. Be nice and don't volunteer any info they dont ask for!!!The Best Things in Life Are Free0 -
called up and explained it was for my "sons" box upstairs, took 5 minutes and everything went to plan. new card will be out in Three days ! Thanks to OP !0

ok. for those of you who have an existing account - what have you done - i presume you've set up this new free trial offer account, and then you've cancelled the old one. Is that the right way to go about it?
Where you've done this, have you used the same account number to pay the monthly charge from?
Thanks in anticiaption.0 -
Im sure its already been said, but ouch £20 a month is still not what id call cheap. I have more important things to spend my money on, like a mortgage lol. Oh well nice if you can afford it I spose
, not that I have time for telly these days...

I gave the same name/bank/address etc i just rang and said im ringing to get the offer on a leaflet i have had through the post , then i cancelled my old account but had to give 30days notice.0 -
I'm not sure of the exact t&cs, but you may find that your new contract won't start until you activate the new card - that way minimising the overlap, if you leave it a couple of weeks?
I did this deal last week when it appeared on hotukdeals - had to call a couple of times to get story straight, but happily on sky world now.But the banks are made of marble,
With a guard at every door,
And the vaults are stuffed with silver,
That the farmer sweated for.0 -
does anybody want to try for me I have cancelled account and have a old
free sat card but tried twice with no luck0 -
still no joy!0
