    W.T.F ????

For goodness sake, nobody is being that decietful.$ky have shafted people for years by increasing the rates and offering new customers better deals than loyal existing custmers. Its no good getting all moral about it,just get in there and join in.As i read some of your previous posts it seems broadband treat loyal customers the same way as sky ?

for me most people are just bending the rules slightly and justifying it by Sky's monopoly and aparent disregard for existing customers, fair play, go for it guy's and gals but i'm really not sure about people who actually ring up to alter stuff before their new card has arrived, it's pretty nailed on that Sky customer services are aware of whats going on and will probably be very vigilent for the next couple of weeks, why then do people tempt fate by phoning back in a very small period of time and potentially set off alarm bells that seem to have got some people their contracts nullified...... don't stick your head above the parapet

If you have been refused just keep trying youll hit the right person !!!!

Ring up and say ..... Hi i was just ringing to take you up on this offer ive had through the post , it says to quote "free Trails"

then they should say great what package do you want , tell them which you want but make sure you do not speak to them , just answer the questions as the more you talk the more chance you have of dropping yourself in it ,

Tell them what they want to hear i used the same name and same bank account , if asked about the card just say can i have a new one please as my other is a bit dodgy the kids keep playing with it lol

Hope this helps and if your turned down try and try again , not being funny here by the way but it is best if you get a woman as they wont go into stuff like a bloke does and easier to talk to without dropping yourself in it !!!

Has anyone seen the advert for nationwide bank ... we give you a good rate to get you hooked !!!!! Sky do exactlly the same

DONT FORGET !!! YOU DESERVE THIS FOR PAYING SKY SUCH SILLY AMOUNTS FOR YEARS AND GETTING NO THANKS FROM THEM !!!

Has anyone recieved their 'new' cards yet, and if so when did they ring (just trying to get an idea of Sky's current turnaround.........many thanks in advance ;)

Called them on Friday, received new card this morning - not bad, eh?
    I love a nice juicy "kebab"... ;)
  • Must be a mistake mate...We do NOT have any snotty girls here in England...FACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:confused:Fact??? Considering I work for a Government Department and have the pleasure of dealing with you lovely people south of the border day in day out, I can confirm although majority of you are very friendly and helpful, have also had the misfortune of speaking to many a snotty English person (male and female).

You seem like you would be a lovely person to talk to. ;)

    :rolleyes2 :naughty:

Hi there I have had Sky+ for 3 months paying £47 per month. I know that technically I should n't go for this offer because I should still pay the original contract for another 9 months. Could i just cancel my original DDebit and set up the new one for this offer with another account? Would Sky hunt me down for the payment for the original contract?

I so want to go for this 1/2 price deal. Any advice please.......?

    Ermm...
I have an account with Sky but it's NOT Sky+.
Will this deal work without the Sky+ box?

    Mucho.

    NO!
You are under contract for another 9 months and cannot cancel!
If you try they will bill you for the rest of the term.

Yes you can use it with a regular sky box! Just so happens I changed to sky+ a few months ago after a post on here told my how to get it for £49 installed.

hi peeps...got sky downstairs on subscription but out of contract (not in my name).......also have another 3 boxes in bedrooms upstairs (quad LNB) with one being used with a pre-freesat viewing card (purchased it some years back before freesat) just wondering if I could ring them and give the details of my sky card which is I suppose the same as the freesat one and see about getting a contract in my name? Any views on this as it would be cheaper than a sky multi room sub if I'm not mistaken
    Welcome, rogerramjet.
