Sky 1/2 Price 12 Months !!!

If you are an existing customer, surely by giving your full address Sky will be able to tell if you currently are a customer?

We have had Sky for 7 years so are well out of contract!

So If I give a different tel number, bank details, current address and don't give my viewing card I should be able to get this deal?

Different number - my mobile
Different name - hubbys name on the original contract mine on the new
Different Bank Details
Same address

and I got accepted first time. Card not received yet but hopefully it will ll go to plan.

Sorry another question!

If I take out this offer and wait for them to send out a new viewing card before cancelling my current subscription - will I encounter any problems? i.e. Sky finding out I have 2 subscriptions running?

Has anyone done this yet?

This is what I was concerned about so I posted a message on the hotdeals forum and the replies said not sure yet but once card received check it works. There are lots of people on there who ordered before me and they are gonna post back to update what they do. Hopefully it should all go ok. If not we have a cooling off period.

tried 4 times (long conversations) witout success, then got in 3min on the 5th attempt!
Very strange...

As others posted here, say that you got the leaflet and quote the offer by name and then go on to give them your details. If they ask for your viewing card say you are not at home.

Have I read somewhere that they are going to be giving the sky + boxes free of charge can someone point me in the right direction may has well go for that as well now I have this offer

I called today and got offered it on the first go - no problems, same name, telephone number, different bank account, same address as my original account. They opened an new account for me...

Called later to confirm that my account (the original one) is due to be closed in a month - ended up with the manager who said that the deal should not have been offered to me so they have cancelled my 'new' contract!

Writing to complain, not sure if I'll get anywhere though?
