Sky 1/2 Price 12 Months !!!

Hi i wondering if anyone can help.... I cancelled sky a couple of weeks ago because of the cost but this does sound exceptionally good value......does anyone know if i would be able to use this offer having only cancelled a short while ago.....thanks

I was a previous sky subscriber until November, have a different land line number now from the one registered, thing is the dish is a communal one at the top of the building and one postcode for all the flats, still receive free channels using the box....would i be able to apply for this too? Am getting confused about whether i need to "elaborate" and say that i have freesat? Am trying to gather all the info b4 making the big call....?

Read the link to the hotdeals forum post - all the info you need is in there. But yes it looks like it will work as long as you pretend you have have been a freeview viewer and do no give them your sky card number.

I still have a subscription but intend to cancel and use the new half price subscription I got this morning.

i just rang sky regarding cancellation, they said there is no way of canceling, there are few terms but they have not broken them, they gave me a complaints address so i will draw some things to their attention regarding the broadband service which are very true, also adding this deal in to the mix, i doubt they will care but i suggest those who cannot get the offer to write in, customer revolt sometimes works....

I think the trick is to give as little info as poss. Say you want to quote Free Trial and if they ask say you receive free channels - that is the truth but don't specify Freesat. You should be fine but keep calling over and ove aain if not successful until you get someone who will put it through!!!

right card sent today,put it in sky plus box rang and got it sorted no need for phone to be plugged in,she did it through the box serial number,asked if she could sort recording out for me as i had movies as part of my package,which she did no probs also got her to check price of package.. showin as £18 for 12 mths !! sorted .....also tried swapping card between normal sky box in bedroom an skyplus in living room..all the mix channels work in normal box but not movies buts that ok as i only wanted living tv for most haunted! in bedroom lol

Just rang sky and new viewing card in the post! OH cancelled SKY in January - new card in my name no probs. Thanks to all posts - kids will be pleased when we tell them!

ihave just rang sky just quoted free trial ,i already have an account that is being cancelled the end of the month quoted all of the same details but just randomly changed one of the digits of the phone number and gave a different bank account number,sending new card out.
do i need to ring to activate the card ?
if i do , shall i quote the telephone number or just give the new account number that she gave me ?
if i ring up after my original subscription has been cancelled can i then give them correct phone number and change ddr or is this too risky incase they catch me out ?

Hi,
We're due to move in around a month or so - they already have a sky dish and I believe they might leave the box also but there are sky points already installed.

Do you think I might be able to get this offer? And cn you combine with phone & broadband?

£37.50 is the sky sports world package which I've had for 18 months on sky+ and 7+ years in my previous add, I've never had the movies so I often call the sky sports package the full set.....silly I know.
