Spiritual, when we had our original sky subscription we got an independant dealer to install our sky, was good value and they were very quick. There were loads of people in the area - do a yell.com search.

This may be a silly question but can i change the package i get from sky during the 12 months and still get the half price deal or do i have to keep the same package for the full 12 months?

For example if i take out the Sports and six mixes @ £18.50/month, and then after 2 months want to change to the two mixes package @ £7.50/month, can i do this, or am i stuck to the £18.50 package for the full 12 months no matter what? Or if i change the package, do i have to pay the full price for it?

    Thanks in advance.

No - they specifically told me on the phone that if I change the package the price will revert to the full price. I amon the full package so if I was to drop the movies and sports I would have to pay the full £21 for 6 mixes. This is still only 75p a month cheaper than the full lot with movies and sports though!

Best to think seriously about what you are likely to watch and what you can afford.

    hi all
i just want to get this right before i ring
i currently have a package in my name which i have cancelled from end of march, the package was previously in my partners name,
we dont have his sky card anymore but if he rings and said he had been receiving channels that are free to view before our little one damaged the card and that he had a free trial in february of all of the channels then we get half price sky for a year?
could he just give our telephone number or because my package is still running is it best to give another one ?
have i got everything right? or is there any thing else i need to know because he isnt very good on the phone so i will need to tell him all about it before he rings because if they start asking loads of questions he will get all tongue tied
i appreciate your help he was devastated when i cancelled it but i did not see the point in paying for it all full price and when i rang for a deal they said there were none available but this could be a way of me getting in his good books again
    thanks very much

I'm existing customer on a full package ,how can I get this half price deal without them knowing I'm already an existing customer.

My brother has a normal sky box (I have sky+) with no subscription can I get it on his account and use it on my own after i've cancelled my existing account.

Will the card work on both sky and sky+

Please help as I want the full package but sick of paying the full £37 a month I've been paying for 18 months.

Full package is £43.50 so your not on the full at the moment, but that's irrelevant..........

Use your brothers details but use your direct debit details, ask for a new card and when it arrives pair the card up with your box ;)

It depends on how long you have left on your conract if you have say 2 months then it might be worth getting the new half price deal and paying for 2 months both subscriptions, but if you have loads of time left you cannot get out of your subscription so it is not possible. This is how I understand it.

Have you read the link to Hotdeals on the OP - might be some ideas in there.
