Well I seem to have a issue, that I have to wait to the 25th of this month to forward a payslip due to a salary increase which comes into effect from this month, obviously my previous slips show my old salary......

Very annoying to have to wait just to the 25th just to send the letter with slip off.

Send them your current payslip AND the letter from your employer confirming your new salary. I did this and they were fine, my mortgage is based on my 2013 salary (I applied 8th March)
  • Betts, The rise was from 27k to 31k.

How do you mean they made you wait? Currently I have been told I need to wait until the 25th of This month or until I have my new payslip to send?

They did mention this and I have the letter from my company, however I spoke to someone at the business team at Nationwide and they stated that they would most likely then contact my Employer for a reference and authenticate the letter, etc etc and by this time they have done this it would most likely be quicker just to wait for the 25th, noting it was the 9th when this conversation took place.

    Well thats not huge
I meant that they did not process my application further till they got hold of my march payslip that sort of is as good as a p60 i guess coz there is final figure of your salary mentioned underneath with tax and all
  • How much success have people had with sending a old pay slip with a letter from your employer stating your pay rise?

    Thanks

I sent them 6 months payslips and my pay rise letter and they didn't have any problems with that.

    Hi Japmis

Have you chased NW for your case recently. May be worth giving a call to them to find out the status.

Do you know that like in my case the valuation was carried out yesterday, should I call my EA or MB to find out if all was ok or should I just wait till friday for valuation report to come through and if not then call them.
