Well it's been a hell of a day. Scan wasn't clear as predicted but there was somewhat of a scare that it could be a Molar pregnancy of cancerous cells and I had to have bloods taken to see if that was a possibility. They advised I would be taken straight in for a d&c if that was the case, but that I should go home and they would phone me with the results. I eventually got a call at 7pm to say bloods were all fine but they have a bed for me to go in tomorrow at 8am to have a medicated procedure to start the clear out of my womb.

Well I'm back home, finally. Thanks for all the good wishes folks :A

I've lost a lot of stuff today :eek:, but the nurses said it was all blood clots rather than tissue . It's truly amazing how much stuff can be inside one womb! Anyway, I've been sent home to hopefully pass the rest & have to go back if it gets too heavy or painful. Otherwise I have to go back in 10 days to have another scan to see if it's all gone by then. I'm planning to just relax tonight so have cancelled plans to go out with the Mums from school. Typical that I only go out a couple of times a year and it falls on a time that I can't go. At least it's money saved!

We've spent an absolute fortune at the hospital coffee shops today, but MIL dropped us off & picked us back up again so thankfully no diesel or parking fees to pay. DH hasn't been 100% today so he's gone for a lie down. Fingers crossed that doesn't develop into anything as I don't think I can cope today of all days .
