Hi Robin,
DS2 slept in until 10am so hence so did we!! :jFelt marvellous for it so decided to go into work after all. It was a bit of a struggle but I made it through the 6 hours. Feel very tired and emotional again now though.

I think you are right satchmo. The more stressed and worried DH gets, the more tired and forgetful he gets. It's a vicious circle. Normally I'm very patient with this but I fear I have been less so recently so this has probably been a factor also. I've been getting wound up and emotional and then irritated at how slow or forgetful he is (I feel bad writing this but it's the truth). It's little things like when I got the phone call asking me to be at hospital for 8am I was at work, so I rang home and spoke to MIL and DH and we agreed MIL would pick us all up at 7.30am the next morning to take DH and I to hospital then drop DS1 at school and keep DS2 with her. After we ended the call, MIL remembered that she needed petrol so she told DH to tell me she'd come at 7.20am instead. DH didn't pass this message on and we weren't ready when she came as I wasn't expecting her for 10 more mins. The result was we were late as she still needed to get petrol. Now I know this wasn't DH's fault, and MIL should have told me herself, but the result was me getting stressed and wound up. It's the daft things that affect me more.I hope today is a good day for you, despite the rain! Or perhaps you haven't got the rain, in which case your world is better and dryer than mine!
Thanks Piq, we didn't have rain here. Or at least I don't think we did but I was stuck indoors at work, far away from all windows! None of the customers looked wet!!
One other  thing. I received a letter today asking me to go for a work focused interview at the job centre which is compulsory due to DH getting benefit for me, and it states the benefit will be reduced if I do not attend. This isn't a problem at all apart from one thing - the interview was 23rd October and I got the letter today - 10th November!! The letter was dated 17th Oct and sent 2nd class. Will have to ring them on Monday.

Oh PLMBL, my heart goes out to you... you have every reason to be emotional right now, not only are your hormones out of kilter, but you are grieving for the little one that might have been. Don't feel bad for writing the truth here, it's your diary for your thoughts and feelings. It's also a safe environment. I really do understand how the forgetfullness can stretch your patience.
BTW your MIL sounds like one in a million, bless her.
hugs for you xxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

I hope you were well enough to be at work. Don't go overdoing things. You want to be able to enjoy your break.

Blimey, things never run smooth. They don't seem to in this house either

DS2 was unemployed for a couple of months and the same thing happened to him. He has a job now but in the DWP offices so he now knows how complicated the systems etc are. The staff at the job centre should be sympathetic towards you as it wasn't any fault of yours. I hope it is all sorted out now.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
