Hi all,
Sneaking back in after a couple of days off from updating. Ive been a bit emotional so didn't feel like posting incase I came across as unhinged.
I managed a very busy 6 hour shift at Mr A's on sat. It was actually so busy it flew over. My Mum took the boys out for a few hours while I was at work but DS1 ruined it all by misbehavingI sent him to bed when I get home. He's been much better since thankfully.
DS2 is doing really well with his plaster. It's obviously much more comfortable with it on. Only downside is that he's discovered that if he hits his brother with it, it hurts him more than it hurts himself! Little b*gger!
DH had a bit of an off day yesterday. He was a bit confused & found it hard to keep up with everything. Happily it didn't progress into anything & he's been better today.
This morning was wasted due to waiting in for a t@lk t@lk engineer that never arrived  He was meant to come between 8am-1pm and when I rang at 1.15pm to check he was still coming I was told (in broken English) that they didn't know why he hadn't turned up but he wouldn't be coming now because it was outside of my allotted time slot & I would be called within 5 days to make a convenient appointment!!!! I lost it at that point and said I HAD a convenient appointment but they had failed to keep their end of the bargain! Ive asked for a manager call back which I still haven't had so will chase that tomorrow. It's all over their paperwork that if I fail to cancel an appointment by 1pm the previous day I will be charged. As far as I'm concerned that's what they've done & therefore they should pay!!
Because of all that we didn't make it to LTSB today. Poohbear, I'd love to switch elsewhere but I don't think anyone else will have us at the minuteDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sorry things haven't gone well today and you were feeling a bit out of sorts this weekend. Remember we are here to support you through those difficult times. I'm sure we all come across as a bit unhinged at times but with each others support come out the other side. That's why we all get on so well x
Hope you feel better now, how is your other situation, hope its settled down now. Remember these are early days and with the amount of other stress you are under, you are bound to feel a bit off now and then.
Lots of love Granny xTargets

Thanks Granny Xx
The bleeding has slowed now & I no longer feel physically unwell, just very tired & emotionally unstable, though not as bad as I was.
I'm going to brave the scales tomorrow and start eating better again. I'm sure that will make me feel better as well (well maybe not the getting weighed part!!).Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I gained 2lbs so not great but not bad either for 2 weeks of hormones & comfort eating.
Didn't get anywhere with the branch manager at LTSBIts not the same helpful guy who was BM last year & the only thing he said was if we switched current accounts to them we might be eligible for a loan or something in 3 or 4 months. He then said we should phone the credit card department and deal directly with them. Great!
Got a call back from T@lk T@lk also. Total waste of time as the (once again foreign) guy didn't speak very good English & didn't really have any answers or authority so I'm now waiting for another call back within 72 hrs :mad:Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Good morning Be Lucky, :hello:
Glad to hear your physical symptoms are settling down fairly quickly - the last mc I had, I bled for six weeks; the medics said it was normal and followed by my period.. I was so peed off! (Then fell for DS4 the next month completely by accident - so be careful, as the roller-coaster of emotions got really difficult to cope with, especially as DS3 was still in hospital at the time).please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Didn't get anywhere with the branch manager at LTSBIts not the same helpful guy who was BM last year & the only thing he said was if we switched current accounts to them we might be eligible for a loan or something in 3 or 4 months. Oh they are [insert rude word of choice!].please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Got a call back from T@lk T@lk also. Total waste of time as the (once again foreign) guy didn't speak very good English & didn't really have any answers or authority so I'm now waiting for another call back within 72 hrs
Aha; I'm with them too and had [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] several similar hassles with them. Tip One: If you're on the 'phone, use the phrase "I wish to escalate this to the Supervisor" and insist that the call is transferred (the Supervisors tend to speak better English and have more clout). Do not accept a call-back. If the operative says that's not possible go to Tip Two: Email them. This works! Detail the operative's failings and reiterate your problem. If you haven't heard back within 24 hours email again, and keep doing it! (They close 'cases' after 48 hours, assuming that you've been sorted out if you don't get in touch again). If it's in writing they have to respond, and it was always a Supervisor who 'phoned me back after I'd sent an email (each one generated a call-back).
They gave me a couple of months free internet after doing this, to make up for their system regularly losing the connection, and I've had no more problems with them since (touch wood).
Good Luck!0 -
Thanks for the tips Robin. Surprise surprise I haven't heard back from T@lk T@lk so will get back in touch with them as you've suggested.
I've been really lax with my diary recently, just don't seem to have the time (or sometimes the motivation) to get online. I'm still very focused on saving money and reducing debts but for some reason I've gone a bit doom and gloom and on edge, like I'm just waiting for things to go wrong. Even writing this I feel stupid and like kicking myself up the @rse, but I can't shake it off. I'm hoping it's a mix of being constantly exhausted, hormones and a couple of crappy shifts at work rather than a premonition of more rubbish to come. No matter how much sleep I get it doesn't feel enough and I keep having waves of misery:(:(:(.
I wrote the paragraph above and then zoned out into the tv. I've just re read it and I'm amazed how down I sound. I nearly deleted it but I've decided to leave it in as I honestly do keep feeling like that. It's quite scary though. I'm trying to focus on the positives and pick myself back up again. Looking forward to bouncing back.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hello my lovely, I think your feelings of doom and gloom are fairly normal to be honest, after all you have had a really tough 18 months and your hormones are all over the place at the moment. It only takes one cross word from someone to tip us over the edge when we are feeling glum and it sometimes feels as though the whole world is against us.
Try to get as much rest and fresh food and water as you can and before long you will be feeling your bright optimistic self again.
Lots of love and Granny hugs

Thanks Granny that made me smile. At least I'm not in danger of being served with roast potatoes and veggies
. That's a positive in itself :rotfl:.:rotfl:.
In a bid to lighten my mood I've decided to write the positives of the last few days
1) Parents Evening for DS1 went very well.
2) I've 'upgraded' my phone contract which means it's £5 a month cheaper going forward.
3) DH's DLA application has been finished and sent off (fingers crossed).
4) Bleeding has almost stopped.
So not lots and lots but enough to prove that it's not all bad. I need to focus on that and cheer my big behind up XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I'm sorry to hear your news and that you've been feeling so down. Don't feel bad about writing it down or worry about sounding unhinged. I am slightly unhinged and have the psychologists reports to prove it! But so what, I find writing it down helps to organise the thoughts better and you can then view them in a more rational light, it can definitely help to reduce the catastrophic thinking and allows you to think of constructive ways forward. Absolute worst thing to do is just let those bad thoughts keep swirling round.
Keep writing down the positive thoughts too, unfortunately they never dominate the mind in the way negative ones do so we need to write them down to recognise that they did happen.
Food and mood go very much hand in hand, if I eat rubbish my mind goes to hell. Sit down and eat 3 proper meals and snacks as needed, plenty of water and a bit of exercise will make the world of difference.
Sending lots of positive vibes your way and I hope this week is a better one for you.
