Good Morning Be Lucky, :hello:

Well yes your hormones are trying to catch up, making you feel carp in the process - it happens to everyone after a mc; it will pass, a bit easier as you recognise what's happening than if you just thought the world is against you.
Be kind to yourself, get out in the fresh air as much as you can - make the most of the end of the blackberry season perhaps as that's a great excuse to get the whole family out walking; take bags and sticks to reach down the best ones from on high - not only are they delicious but it's a wonderfully free excursion. :D [ETA: Also very good for your DH; practise his fine motor control and patience ;) ].

Somehow I'm not surprised TT didn't 'phone you back - but once you start sending daily emails they will! Can I suggest you put pen and paper by the 'phone and take records; date and time of call, the name of the person who is dealing with your issue, a synopsis of what is said..
Then use these records in the emails you send later (assuming they don't resolve the problem first go).
Earlier I wrote "Detail the operative's failings" - what I meant was write in your email something like: "On xxth October at 10.00hrs I spoke to your employee "John Smith" on the 'phone, who told me [whatever] but this was not done. Unfortunately his standard of English is very poor and I do not think he understood the problem."

One of the annoying things about TT is that there is no geographic alternative to their premium rate number, so - as long as your internet is still working - it's cheaper to email them and get them to call you. ;)

Hi PLMBL

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! I was a frequent visitor on the DFW forums for most of the year until I went MIA in July..just about the time I fell off the wagon MSE wise! (there may be a coincidence there!).. Anyway am back now and was really hooked by your diary. Haven't read it all, but spent the last hour or so reading about all the great things you've achieved but also some of the scary and very sad moments. Will subscribe and just wanted to say hi and I will be cheering you on from the sidelines!!

Hope you have a good Sunday

Hi plmbl, Just popping to say 'Hi', give you a huge virtual hug, and say how much I respect you for actually leaving your diary entry and not deleting it.
It is a grim time now for you but it will improve. Maybe get outside in the sunshine (presuming you have the same blue skies as us), how about a walk on the beach, something free but uplifting? That has reminded me about your DH, has he got a Blue Badge? I would apply for one on his behalf and then you can park at the beach for free, (when he is with you).

• Aw you guys are so canny (for those who don't speak Geordie that means nice!) and just what I needed. I have wonderful friends and family but I think they just assume I'll be positive and cope because I always do, so it's nice to get support on here.

BC I think you are right about the food thing. I've been eating lots of rubbish recently and today I've made a conscious effort to have a proper meal and sat down to enjoy it.

Robin, I'll get on with that email. Enough putting it off!! :o

Brizzle, thank you so much for stopping by! Did you really spend an hour of your life reading my diary??!! I feel honoured. I hope your Christmas trip is everything you hope it will be and more Xx

Pooh, we did go to the coast today to meet my family for a coffee, but then the kids wanted to go to softplay so we all went there instead. DH went in with the little one so I got to just sit, watch and chat which was good. We've looked in to the blue badge before but DH didn't qualify then. I think he'd qualify if we get DLA this time though so will get on with it then.

Positives for today.
1) I've listed 3 things on eb@y as it's free listing. I'll gloss over the fact that I'd promised myself 10 things at least, and focus on the fact I've actually done SOME.
2) I've sorted out a toy to take to the Arg*s big toy exchange. Basically you take something in to the store which they can donate to Barnad0s, and they give you a voucher for £5 off a £35 spend on toys in store. With christmas coming this will come in handy, particularly as I also have a £5 voucher to use up by the end of the month that they gave me free last time I shopped there. I've chosen something out of my bootsale pile that is in good nick but I probably would have only asked £3 or so for, so this way I get more for it and a charity benefits. Win win. :j
3) MIL has offered to pay for our bathroom floor :T. We'd run out of cash so still have the old lino down and she wants to pay for us to get it finished off. We are all going to the flooring place tomorrow afternoon.

Scan tomorrow, fingers crossed I'm all clear now.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend Xx

Fingers crossed for the scan PLMBL.

Well done on the ebay listings... I think little and often is sometimes the best way, if I set myself the task of too big a listing session it feels such a mammoth undertaking I just don't end up doing it!:rotfl:
• Thanks Ladybird.

Scan was a bit disappointing. There's still tissue there, although less than there was 10 days ago & my hormone levels are still high enough to show I'm pregnant on a pregnancy test. They again gave me the choice between having a procedure done or letting nature take it's course & I chickened out into letting it happen naturally. Apparently they dont worry about infection etc until after 10 weeks and its only been 3, so I'm fine to go back in 10 days for another scan & see what the state of play is then.

I hope things start to sort themselves out for you. It can take a little while but you have less of a chance of an infection by letting nature take its course. And well done on listing some things on ebay. I really must try to get something listed soon.

I hope you managed to find something suitable for your bathroom floor. It will be nice to have it finished. One less thing to have to worry about.

Hope you are feeling a little better today, I know its a pain that things haven't righted themselves straight away but letting nature take its course is probably the best answer. x

• We found and ordered the bathroom flooring yesterday and collected it today. MIL paid for it but it was the bargain price of £56 so I think she was pleased.

I emailed a complaint to T@lk T@lk yesterday and had a callback today. It seems however that it was sheer coincidence that I got a call as it was from a 'lowly' operative wanting to rebook my appointment - for 3 weeks time!!! That will be 6 weeks after the initial appointment was made and thats if they even turn up this time. Im fed up with them now. I said again that I wanted to speak to a Manager and she promised a callback which unsurprisingly I haven't had as yet.

We also spoke to LTSB credit card department who said our only option is to make a credit damaging arrangement with them if we cant meet the normal monthly payments. They are sending the forms out but I really don't want to do that. We mentioned it to MIL who suggested that she pay some of it off so that our monthly payments will reduce and become more manageable. We can then repay her when we are back on our feet. Something to think about Xx
