  • Evening!

Well DH ended up going with BM & his girlfriend. Girlfriend is a nurse so thought he'd be ok in her care, and he took his meds. He didn't have a seizure but he did have more waves of fear and at one point she had to take him away from everyone as he got a bit panicked and overwhelmed. I'm pleased to have him back but it's obvious he's not right. He's had a couple more waves since he got home and I've just mentioned the hotel we've been staying in this week and he looked totally blank. He has no clue we've just had our trip :(. He did enjoy the day though apparently.

The boys and I went out with my Mum, Grandma and Auntie today to a country park with a cafe which was nice. We then did some leafleting as a favour for the woman who runs my Slimming World class. DS1 kept asking if we got paid!! No, we get exercise son which is worth much more :rotfl:.

I'm not feeling too well tonight. Not sure if it's nerves re DH or if I am coming down with something. Going to chill out (if DH allows) and then have a fairly early night Xx

Lovely Lucky, as always I have everything crossed for DH.

Heartbreaking about him being blank on the hotel. Don't let it bother you hun... Glad he got to go out with friend and girlfriend, but not good ref the waves of fear and being overwhelmed.

Hope you don't come down with something although at the same time I don't want it to be stress over DH making you feel ill as that would be worse in a way. Take care of you!

Mum always does the leafleting too :rotfl: her penance for eating too many ice creams during the week usually.

Enjoy your evening, relax and chill as best you can. xx

  • Cheers Lilt. It's good knowing I have sympathetic ears on here!

We've just had another waves of fear/confusion episode. He was panicking that he couldn't remember his or my name. I talked him down from it and he's now had his nightly meds which may balance him out a bit more. He had just eaten a toasted bagel and then looked at the empty plate and asked what had been on it. In his words, his head is 'in bits'.

I can't imagine what he must be feeling, and what you are going through watching it. You are one of the strongest women I have ever been lucky enough to know. My giant ears are always about.

Hugs and good wishes and positive vibes for a simple night. Hope the meds sort him out, or at least make him sleepy and send him to bed early so you can go... x

  • Thanks for the support Lilt and Granny. I don't feel particularly amazing, just 'doing what I gotta do'!

    In the last few minutes he's asked me;

"Have I had my tablets?" - 3 times
"What day is it?" - twice
"What day is it tomorrow?" 3 times
"What is happening?" (Meaning on the tv) at least 5 times

Aaaaaaaaargh. I love him but sheesh!

I do feel better though, the sicky feeling isn't as strong Xx

Hope you feel better soon x
