Good to hear from you. If i'm honest I don't know of any family that doesn't have a crisis when they go away for a holiday. Always wanted to take my lads to LEGOLAND but as they are now 27 & 25,i don't think they will want to go.x

Thank goodness you're ok :) and have had a fab time at Legoland. I was hoping you'd just be busy. Years ago our car broke down on the way to Cornwall, we had to pay a fortune to get it fixed at a garage en route, it added hours on to our journey. So glad to see you back.

  • Thanks everyone. DH got a bit wound up and angry while we were away but there were no signs of seizure. Unfortunately he's had a few waves of fear this morning (focal seizure is the posh word for that!!) so fingers crossed that won't lead to anything. He's supposed to be going with best mate and his girlfriend this afternoon to watch best mate do a stunt driving thing that he got for his birthday. Not sure he will be going now. Typical that it affects him on one of the few and far between days he has plans to go out and do something.

I realised at 4am (after DS2 had woken me up thinking it was morning ) that I hadn't done a debt calculation in August. So after doing so, total now stands at £3450. Really pleased to have broken the £3.5k barrier despite making quite reduced payments this month. I've been quite conservative with my payments with it being summer hols, but at least I've still been making some!! I've worked out that paying an absolute minimum of £200 per month will get me debt free in 17 months ish, so any increase on that will bring that date closer. This will happen before the end of 2015, I promise myself!!

  • So glad to hear you had a good time at Legoland. Like Amber said, what family with young children doesn't have a drama of some sort when they are out for a big family outing.

Shame Dh will miss his trip tonight but I expect he is worn out.

Good to hear he coped well with the trip. xxxx
