Happy birthday to Beanie for yesterday. You should have your own diary Beanie. We could all subscribe.
Made me smile about Mr Lucky helping with roof. Mr SA still looks up at roofs when he sees scaffolding up. He always tries to see which roofing firm is doing the job. He's got no chance of getting up there though!
Hope you're enjoying the bank holiday. It's raining here, dull and miserable.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
It was only a garage roof SA, no way he'd be allowed up to anything higher, and to be honest I think best mate kept him on the ground passing stuff up most of the time anyway!!
Sorry you have rain, it's actually nice here. Bit windy (great for drying clothes on the line!) but really hot when it drops. We are going to take the kids to the park after lunch (which is homemade soup just to contradict the weather:rotfl:).Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi plmbl
Cant believe you have sun today, It's totally miserable here in Dorset.
Oooh hm soup, I love it but hardly ever make it, because the children act like I am trying to poison them when I do
Enjoy your afternoon. xx0 -
Another one here jealous of your lovely weather. Enjoy! I eat HM soup all year round hot weather or not. Every day for my work lunch. I make a huge batch every Sunday to see me through the week. Someone has given me the biggest butternut squash (home grown) I've ever seen so that's this week's flavour.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Ah sorry your weather has been pants. I daresay we will get a taste of that soon.
My homemade veg and lentil soup is the only soup my 2 will eat! They think I'm poisoning them if I try anything from a tin!!!
You should make yourself a batch of soup and freeze it in individual portions just for you. XxSun_Addict wrote: »Another one here jealous of your lovely weather. Enjoy! Well we had a lovely afternoon at the park despite DH having a couple of waves of fear. Disappointed it happened so soon after increasing meds, though perhaps it hasn't been long enough (4 days) to be having an impact.
Something is definitely up with him though and I can't decide if it might be side effects of the drug increase, or a seizure brewing. He is very snappy yet can't see it, looks very depressed and is obviously tired. I'm trying to convince him bed is the best option. We have our trip to Legoland this week and I don't want him to be unable to go XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sorry to hear about DH Lucky. Is he open to bribery? Maybe bribe him like you would the kids on going to bed...
Fingers and toes and eyes crossed for legoland being ok!

Cheers Lilt. He is just sitting there fizzing like a seething ball of fury and I honestly don't know why. The Royal Marines Commando school programme that he enjoys is about to start. If it cracks a smile he's allowed to stay up and watch it, if not he's going to bed whether he likes it or not!!! Wish me luck! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

That must be pretty hard to deal with! Him minus head injury is a bit like that though not so volcanic sounding.... He is so quiet anyway I usually end up asking him what is wrong half a dozen times, at which point he tells me he was fine until I made him angry asking what was up.
Men are weird ducks. I hope DH cracked a smile, and if not that he went to bed ok!! Hugs!!
