Sorry to hear about your sister's partner. How awful for her. Good news about DLA and Mr Lucky's new meds though. Hopefully he'll remain seizure free. Have a lovely bank holiday weekend!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks everyone, I'm really relieved on both counts. Although I truly believe DH deserves the DLA, it's still a worry until you get it written down in black and white.
SA, sister's partner is only 35 (well nearly 36. Oddly, we were born the same day and have the same name!!). She's currently having meetings with the community heart nurse and will see the transplant team next in about 10 days time. Scary stuff!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

There is another thing I better start adding away a budget for for the future.. Jelly's are £26-30 at the minute and that is bad enough! Oh actually her winter boots last year were £40... but they still fit... not enough wear out of them though...
Hope the meds work great for DH and he surpasses his best time between seizures!
Lilt I don't even pay that much for my shoes!!! No wonder the outlet shop was so blinkin busy if they cost £21.50 there and £48 in the normal shop!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

DH has been helping his best mate fix my Auntie's roof (truth be told mate has been doing the work and DH been doing the fetching and carrying!). He has enjoyed feeling useful but he's very tired and was quite snappy as a result! I was pleased to be going to work!!
I took the boys swimming this morning. Lovely receptionist let me in free as carer even though I didn't have DH with me! Cost £2 for the three of us :T Felt weird being without DH but good weird if you know what I mean!
Did ironing this afternoon (how exciting!). By this point DH and his mate were watching drag racing on my tv so I cracked on with the ironing!
Work tonight was busy but not horrific. Off to bed soon as I'm shattered as per usual. Can't remember what it feels like not to be tired!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I hope that's syn free cake Beanie :rotfl:. I need 3lbs off this week
. Hope you've had a lovely day Xx
Today we have been to a funfair! My lovely colleague (of hedgehog cooking fame :rotfl:) told me about it and where I could get coupons for money off rides. We had 3 fab hours there and although we spent £20 we had a blast and saved a fortune. It was quite close to where my Sister lives and she came down for an hour to meet us. It was lovely to see her although she is understandably upset re her partner. Partner didn't feel well enough to join us.
Won £25 on lotto last night so that paid for today's activities :T.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Is it your birthday?!?!
Happy Birthday!!! If not.... well Happy Birthday Beanie!!! :rotfl:
I am sure you will get those lbs off this week! As for winning the lotto and paying for your awesome day out that is lovely. So sorry ref sisters partner. That is absolutely awful. Very frightening times indeed.
Shoes... I get mine from Mr S (work) or Sports Direct (trainers) and I never ever spend more than £15! But my mum religiously did Clarks for my growing feet and I have been doing the same for Jellytot, expensive as it is, it is worth it!
