    HI lucky
Now that clever dog has mentioned about a canine partner for DH, I found this link.

I hope I am not being out of turn. But it might be worth investigating.

Hello Lucky - sorry to hear Mr Lucky had another seizure but at least he's recovered enough to have his new tattoo done. If it makes him happy then I say let him get on with it. On the other hand if he has trouble with it then you can smugly say I told you so :) Well done on the weight loss!
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Lilt, it's specifically Bep@nthen that stops the tattoo from scabbing apparently. Over £2 for a weenie little tube that doesn't go very far when your whole s0dding arm is covered .

JAT, siblings are always horrible :rotfl:

Thanks for the link chev, I will look into the criteria to see if we qualify. Must admit to still being undecided, but trying to keep an open mind. Lots of positives to the idea but wondering how much extra work it will bring too.

MiT, I think DH's main problem is that he says he accepts the seizures will keep happening but then dares to hope. It's only human nature obviously, but whereas I continuously expect the next seizure, he continuously hopes it never comes. He is therefore more down about it than me when it happens.
I hope you and DS have a fab time in Edinburgh.

Yesterday we had a trip to Ike@ to get some anti slip matting for the mat at the front door. DH desperately wanted it, he gets overly wound up over little things and the mat moving is apparently a major disaster! £2.50 spent and it's made no difference!! Then we went to softplay with some kiddies from DS2's nursery class and ended up spending £20 for entrance, drinks and lunch . No wonder we are feeling the pinch this week! I did however win £15 on the Scouts bonus ball which has helped, and I saved £3.11 by paying my T@lk T@lk bill online rather than waiting for it to be claimed by direct debit on Tuesday. I have some pretty big outlays coming up, including DS1's new uniform for his new school, paying for his Cub Camp, equipment for Cub camp, car insurance, Edinburgh and then just the summer holidays in general! Feeling a little overwhelmed by all that!

Spent last night trying to find a cheaper deal for my car insurance renewal. Turns out the renewal price is the best I can get (£239 ), so looks like I'll be staying with the same company this year.

Been to work tonight instead of tomorrow night, as DH and I are off to a birthday party. Mum is having the boys :D. Hoping to have minimum spends as it's in a social club and neither of us will be drinking.

Sorry SA, was too busy writing my epic post and didn't realise you had posted.

He is, of course, desperate to get more done on the tattoo. I say, get to the back of the queue mate!!

    Hope you are ok Xx
