Thanks everyone. I've spoken to DH this morning about it , and he explained what I already knew really. He has no knowledge of having a seizure, so when he 'found himself' lying on the floor he assumes he's just fallen out of bed. He thinks at that point that I just 'assume' a seizure has been the cause, rather than actually witnessing it. He isn't calling me a liar, he's just desperately hoping he's right and I'm wrong. Also, his brain is telling him that he is moving the left hand side of his body too, so he genuinely thinks I'm mad when I tell him it's not moving. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about this latest episode. Hope you both get some well needed rest today.
As for why you got wound up, simply 'because you are a kind caring person'
Lots of hugs and well wishes

Well overall we've had a good day. DH and I have both continued to be a bit down (each of us for different reasons!), but physically he has been well and wanted to go out to take his mind off things. We ended up at Wallington Hall (Nat Trust place) as there are 3 different kids play areas there so that kept the boys happy. It was time on my feet so that kept me happy too, and DH enjoyed the sunshine. The boys were thrilled to see a vole who seemed as interested in them as they were in it, and a tiny duckling who was sunbathing on the grass. Stuff like that makes everything worthwhile XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

So sorry to hear about the seizure Lucky. As for the getting wound up by it, frankly who wouldn't. Heaven help anyone who wakes me in the night, let alone with something as mentally taxing and frightening as a seizure, and then deny that it ever happened. At that point, in the middle of the night, with the adrenalin going and everything else, I'm afraid I may have punched him and gone to sleep in another room. All better by the light of the day though.
Your day out sounds perfect! Kids and animals are amazing to witness together. Kinship. xxa

Oh Lucky, that sound lovely xx sorry about the seizure.
I don't know how you do it. And how awful for DH to think his arm is working when it isn't.
So glad you had a good day in some respects. so much to deal with Lucks Big hugs XXXXXXXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Lol Lilt I was very close to punching him
. Talk about adrenaline though, I shifted the bed out of the way to allow more room for DH after he'd fallen. He then proceeded to get back in to bed in it's moved position so obviously I couldn't move it back. Yesterday morning I tried to move it back to normal after DH had got out, and I couldn't budge it an inch! I quite clearly turn into Superwoman when pumped full of adrenaline!
Thank you for the hugs Buffy and Linky. Much appreciated.
DH has been hard work today. VERY forgetful, to the point of doing things like brushing his teeth, coming in to the bedroom and turning round to go brush his teeth because he's forgotten he's just done it 30 seconds ago. He's found it hard to concentrate in a normal conversation and has been very confused. It's like a delayed reaction to the seizure as he'd normally be like that afterwards, but he was really good yesterday.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Forgot to say, got renewal forms through for our English Heritage membership and they wanted £86 for the year. Decided not to be shy and rang up to ask if they offered any carer's discounts etc and I've ended up reducing the cost to £49. Well worth it for 12 months of days out!
Tried to phone Edinburgh zoo but couldn't get through. Need to book tickets as cheaply as possible for that too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Dear Lucky,
So sorry to hear that DH has had another seizure. (((Big hugs)))
And, yes, adrenaline can allow you to do amazing things. My mother tells the story of when I was a baby and my father was away on business (he used to travel frequently when I was young). Anyway, one night Dad is away and I managed to get my head caught between the bars of my cot. My mother says it was only sheer terror that gave her the strength to move them enough to release me.
Good going on asking about the carer's rate - don't ask, don't get.0
