Hi Lucky, sorry to hear although the debt busting has been fantastic that poor DH is still beating himself up for little mistakes. I hope he isnt too upset its such an easy thing to delete a photo.

Congrats on such a huge amount of debt paid off - WELL DONE!!!! x

Cheers Sparky. I think he was mostly upset about the fact that he couldn't remember being asked to keep the photos and he 'went back on his word' without even knowing it. He's more accepting of it all today though.

This morning we went on our 8 mile walk, except today we did it in walking/running intervals!! I may not be able to walk tomorrow!! It will all be worth it if I get my 3 stone award on Tuesday though.

This afternoon DH booked in to get his new tattoo started. Least said about that the better!

So glad that I have refrained from any further tattoo's so far. I don't have the money. Two tiny bits of writing has set me back £80 over the last few years. One, I wouldn't be without though... "Good luck exploring the infinite abyss" from the beautiful film Garden State. A metaphor that really resonates with me, and a film well worth watching. I think tattoo's for the sake of having them are a bit naff though. I really thought long and hard about mine and what they add to my world.

Keep on moving Lucky. I'm sure you will manage to shift some weight this week. I hear your award calling! x

  • I don't have any tattoos Lilt! Think it's a combination of not fancying the pain and always having something better to spend my money on! My Dad always used to say that butterflies were people from Heaven coming back to visit, so I quite fancy getting some kind of butterfly design. Not sure it will ever happen though! Yours sound nice.

I'm still miffed that DH spends lots of money on tattoos when we are struggling to pay stuff off and have a half decent standard of living. That said, at least this way DH will always get to keep his birthday present. If he bought a t-shirt or something it would only last a few years if that. I suppose on some level it's an MSE buy :rotfl:. Just because I spend my birthday money on everyone else, doesn't mean that's the right thing to do either.

Been to work tonight. My work trousers felt slack :D.

  • DH had a seizure in the night :(. He fell out of bed and grazed his head on the way down. Thankfully the buccal stopped the fit, but he was then stuck for a while because his left hand side didn't work to support him in getting up. Didn't stop him from trying though and I'm afraid I get rather would up with him for not just 'doing what he was told' :o. He kept trying to deny he'd had a seizure, and whilst I know that was just about his self preservation, it comes across as him calling me a liar. I was tired after work, we'd only had about 2 hours sleep when it happened and I just got upset that I'm there for him regardless yet he refuses to let me guide him. Eventually he got himself back in bed through sheer brute force of his right arm and leg, and lay there snoring heavily while I lay awake all night worried that he'd have another/hadn't recovered properly/had hit his head.

He is miserable and depressed this morning that he's lost his 8 week progress.
I'm miserable and depressed because I'm tired and I got wound up last night. Why did I do that?!
