    Must use my stash up!
  • Ok, ok, I give in!

    It's booked!

Paid an extra £1.95 for an insurance incase DH isn't well enough on the day. Felt like a worthwhile deal!

Will ring the zoo tomorrow to see if they do a Carer's Discount or any other way of getting in cheaper.

Then I just need some vouchers for the Hard Rock Cafe :o.

I'm not as brave as you with the tattoo MiT :rotfl:.

To be honest we could make it to Edinburgh and back in one day without the need for a sleepover, but it would make it a long and rushed day and that's no good for DH, never mind the kids!

Brill!! Hope you have a good time! :):)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Thank you Beanie and SA.

Feeling quite down today and trying to shake it off. DH has been snappy, I've been snappy and DS1 has been, it seems, trying to wind me up all afternoon. I've felt a bit sick, headachy and very tired too, so not sure if that's what is making me feel down, but I keep feeling very negative.

MiL got back from holiday an hour ago and rang to complain that DH hadn't cut the grass while she was away, which obviously he had forgotten that he'd offered to do it :(. He's gone round to do it now!!

On a positive note, today has been a NSD despite going swimming. DH's monthly gym membership (£15) is due so we went to the pool expecting to have to pay that and a further £1.20 for DS1 to go swimming. (I get in free as carer and DS2 is free as under 5). However, when we got there the computer systems were off so they told us just to all go in for free :D.

  • Cheers Buffy, that's very kind. Even just writing down how I feel has helped and I feel better after reading what you wrote too. Xx
