If her litter is in the utility can she go in there too? I have 5 cats and they are in the kitchen overnight too. If any have a furball, its invariably on the stairs though.Trying to shift that debt!0

Good idea, though every time she's been accidentally locked in a room she tries to dig or scratch her way out, so I've never tried locking her in the kitchen/utility on purpose for fear of damage to the door etc. I think I'd prefer that to damage on the new carpet though!! Will give it a try XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I went out last night with a couple of Mums from nursery to a spiritual evening at the social club at the top of the road. It was a live show, so everyone paid the same £8 and just hoped to be lucky enough to get a message from their loved one.
I should point out at this point that I do believe there is an afterlife on some level and find this all intriguing, but I don't live my life by it or anything.
Anyway, she gave me a message from my Dad!!! It was amazing! She told me his name, the fact that he was an alcoholic, and said he feels he paid the ultimate price for not listening when he was told one more drink would kill him. She knew his nick name for me, the fact that September is a special month in our family (me and my sister were both born in September, as is DS1). She said she could see I am the image of him (everyone said I was his spitting double) and that he is super proud of my 2 boys but he's sad they don't know him. He said the 4 babies I've lost are with him though and he's taking care of them for me.
Most importantly though, he said thank you for everything I did for him when his addiction meant he didn't appreciate it at the time, and he said sorry for everything he put me through. This means an awful lot to me.
Absolutely bloody brilliant. More stuff was said but that's the main gist. Well worth £8, and because it was a social club the drinks only cost me £6 for the whole night :T.

PLMBL I would love to do that to see if my parents would come through but I'm still a bit scared as I believe in that too. I actually read tarot for people and have been very uncanny sometimes with my readings. I just play at it though. My Nana used to read the crystal ball and tea cups and she was really good at it. My other Aunt does tarot as well but she says I am better than she is. I might just get my cards out again and have a wee look see5 Year plan. Do it MiT! The medium last night was so spot on for so many people in the room, that there can't fail to be something else after this. She even said to one girl in the audience "please tell me you haven't seriously been thinking about running someone over on purpose!", to which the girl reacted like ":o, erm yes
, can't believe you know that".
This afternoon we've been helping Mum and her partner do some furniture removal and taking stuff to the tip. He very kindly slipped me £20 :T.
On the subject of money, I decided to have a look at my debts and my snowball. I've been so focussed on paying off Bcard before the 0% runs out on 1st July, that I hadn't even thought to check when the next 0% deal runs out. Turns out it's beginning of December. There's still £1500 on there so to pay it off before December I need to aim for around £250 per month. Realistically this will be a struggle as this month I need £150 to clear Bcard and it's DH's birthday. July and August we will need extra spends with it being school holidays. September is a heavy birthday month (my birthday won't cost anything but DS1's will and it's my Sister's 30th). I will still try to do it though, but I think I may also leave Bcard open when I clear it incase they fancy offering me a longer length 0% again. It would be nice to have options Xx

Good idea to leave it open. Even if they don't do a 0% they might offer a life of balance of 6.9 which is better than nothing.
I think I am scared as my Mum will now know about my debt and will no doubt give me what for. I'll wait until I owe less before I go to a medium :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

You just reminded me, in the message my Dad said he always has money for me if I need it. I was like, "can I have it now please!!??!!". Xx

lucky that sounds like an amazing experiance, and really make you think the best of your dad. Esp the part about the babies. I really hope it bought you happiness.
When I got married recently, in all the hectic preparations I sat in my room as I needed some time to myself and played with my grandma's ring I was given as a present recently. I never met her, she died when my mum was only 19. However, I sat there and I could feel this happy feeling and smell smoke (like cigarettes). Now no on in my family smokes, only my grandma and grandpa did. (both dying before I was born). When I went to speak to my mum the first words that popped into my head was "it must be 6 o'clock somewhere in the world lets have a g&T". Mum looked at my horrified and said she hadn't heard anyone say that since her mum died. Now I know its silly, but I truly think my grandma visited me to make sure I was not stressing too much about the wedding and to bring happiness. I just cant think of another explanation. Much like you with your Dad. Some times when we need it although they arent here they try and tell us what we want to hear. x

Completely agree Sparky, sometimes there is just no other explanation for it and I'm sure your Grandma visited you. Someone said to me today that there seems a different air about me, like happiness and calm! I can understand that, I definitely feel that I've had a resolution to the situation. I also had a lovely chat with my Auntie last night (Dad's sister), so if nothing else it has made me have an extra connection with her.
The sun is shinning here today and DH and I went for our 8 mile walk this morning instead of going to the gym while DS2 was at nursery. We've then been doing a spot of gardening this afternoon. Meanwhile the Postie brought me 'My Sister's Keeper' from the lovely DF(w) :A.
Paid £50 to Bcard this morning, only £100 to go til it's cleared :j.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
