    Hi Lucky, :hello:

Phew, lots has been going on in your busy life recently! :T

Glad to hear you've booked a trip away, and been enjoying making great memories with your boys. :)

Happy Birthday to DH on Friday; hope you all have a wonderful family tea this evening, and the best of days tomorrow. :)

  • Thank you Beanie, Robin and Sparky!

Today is DH's birthday. He's collected the grand sum of £120 and of course wants to spend it on more tattoos . I give up!!

Had a lovely evening yesterday with the family over for a buffet meal and birthday cake. Still lots of cake left, I can see Tuesday not being pretty on the scales :o. Had left over buffet for lunch too which was very mse but naughty diet wise.

This afternoon we went to softplay (DH's birthday choice :rotfl:) and while DS2 and DH played, I managed to get some of the DLA forms filled in. Feeling less daunted about that now it's 50% done!

  • DS1 is in the bad books. He's downloaded something on his Xbox that cost £35 :mad::(. I could cry. It was his reaction afterwards that caused the most problems though, at first he denied it and tried to say his account had been hacked, then he was more worried about losing the xbox as punishment than apologising or being sorry for what he has done. I will take the money out of his savings account but then that means he has very little spends for over the summer holidays .

Today is my 11th wedding anniversary and oddly that has made me a little sad. I was so full of hope 11 years ago and things have been far from easy both before and after the accident. I love DH more than anything, but I found myself wondering what would have happened if I'd married someone else, and then I felt guilty for even thinking of it.

I also got brave enough to watch One Born Every Minute last night for the first time since I lost the twins last year. Big mistake, lady on there had twins. Wont be watching that again in a hurry.

Feeling a bit crumpled and fragile. Sorry for the moan.

Nothing wrong with being self indulgent now and then, you certainly deserve it. (Not that I think you were being mind you)

    Big huggles.
    Ds's can be a pain.
    X box are unhelpful.
I have not been with my XH for a long long time but still get sad at how my life turned out so differently in so many ways from how I thought. So not self indulgent.
