  • Morning :)

I had EH passes a couple of year back but we seem to live in the part of England that has no attractions like that! Must say our NT passes are the same we have to travel across to different counties to see the nice houses and gardens, you're very lucky to have it all so close :) Our week is supposed to be a bit of a wash out from today onwards so not sure we will get to go many places as neither the dog nor the kids seem to like the rain :p

I was reading a book the other day and you and your DH popped to mind, you may have already read it, it's "My sister's Keeper" and there is a man in there who suffers from Grand Mals (have I written that right??) and he has a service dog to warn him. It was really interesting and I wondered why your DH can't get a dog like that? It would give you time to react and get medicines etc before the seizure happened?

Hope you have a lovely day :) xx

I've never read/seen My Sister's Keeper but I've heard it's a real tearjerker! I didn't realise there was a character with seizures though so I shall seek it out.

Robin has previously suggested the seizure dog idea, and it's certainly not 'off the table' as an idea Xx
Hi Lucky - I love the sound the that soft play place - I will I was still young enough!
Sometimes you need a big shop so don't beat yourself up about the big spend.
    Sparky :) x

We were out of practically everything Sparky, so it was always going to be expensive. I've already got a few things on a new list though .

  • Well today was supposed to rain all day, so we went to the cinema. Saw X- Men, Days of Future Past and it was brilliant. Really recommend it, not least because Hugh Jackman gets naked :p. It was saver day Tuesday, and obviously I got in for free with the Carers Card, so along with taking our drinks and snacks from home it wasn't too expensive. Of course, it didn't actually rain at all today so we could have done something else and kept the cinema for another day!!

Got weighed tonight and I've lost 3lbs :j. That's one in the eye for the 2 upsetting comments I've been subjected to recently!

DH been 'feeling like he might seizure' tonight :(:(

On a random note, I have to bin these trousers. Lots of people told me tonight they are super baggy :rotfl:.

So now you can use just a little bit of that to replace those baggy trousers you have been wearing lately x

Hi Lucky - Hope DH is ok, fingers crossed the meds are still working well. I do worry about you stressing. Its not good for you to worry so much- of course you will but make sure you are still looking after yourself properly too (perhaps DH mate could take him for a drink or two at the pub during half term?!) x

PS huge congrats re £500 what a bonus!!

Hugh Jackman minus clothes - never a bad thing :) I've taped about three X-Men movies lately, so once things calm down in a about a week's time, I might actually have time to watch them.

Great news about the weight loss - you're doing so well.

    Hope DH feels better today.

    Take care.
