So now you can use just a little bit of that to replace those baggy trousers you have been wearing lately xKnit_Witch wrote: »Yay to payments in! (and yes get yourself some new trousers young lady!)

Its not good for you to worry so much- of course you will but make sure you are still looking after yourself properly too (perhaps DH mate could take him for a drink or two at the pub during half term?!) x
PS huge congrats re £500 what a bonus!!JustAboutThere wrote: »Hugh Jackman minus clothes - never a bad thingI've taped about three X-Men movies lately, so once things calm down in a about a week's time, I might actually have time to watch them.
Great news about the weight loss - you're doing so well.
Hope DH feels better today.
Take care.
Thank you both. DH hasn't quite been switched on today, like there is a spark missing. He slept in this morning which he hardly ever does, and it's usually a sign that he's not quite right. He's supposed to be going out running with his mate later so he's having a lie down and I'll see if he's 'allowed' to go based on how he is when he gets up again XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Thank you both :A. No letter arrived today from DWP so will sit tight and see what comes tomorrow.
I've been thinking about booking a night in Edinburgh during the summer hols as the kids really want to go back to the zoo and for them half the fun is the sleepover. I've found a deal for £59 but with 2% cash back and a code for £5 off. Then there would be the price of the zoo and food while we are away though (but I can take packed lunch for the first day and cereal for breakfast the next morning as it's not included in the price). It still adds up fast though! Umming and aaahing over it at the minute.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I would go for the trip to Edinburgh.
You could use a small amount of the back money that you have received.

Cheers Beanie, still pondering it. Didn't make myself clear in the last post, but the deal is just for a travelodge, albeit on Princes St. We would still have to pay for travel, zoo, food etc. Kids also want to go to Legoland or the Manchester Lego Discovery Centre, so lots to try to do with a relatively small pot of money!
And DS1 doesn't deserve it anyway. Just had an almighty row with him over his behaviourDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Lucky do it! Have a treat with some of that £500. Even if you pay £1 off debt and spend the rest (not that you would) its money you didnt know you had. I am all for being good but you need to treat yourselves now and again. x
