By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Cheers MiT. I am a lot less snotty but got a horrible chesty cough and no voice (which the boys think is great!).
We all went to the party this morning. I paid DS1 in to the soft play while the party was on and then he was invited to eat with the party kids afterwards so it worked out quite cheaply. DH and I ate last night's left over pasta bake when we got home :money:
DH has gone round to his best mate's house. It's good for them to be on their own for 'man chats'. DS2 is building lego and DS1 has just gone out to play with his pal (despite it looking like it's going to pour down!), so I'm enjoying the peace. For a change!! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Well it rained as predicted so I now have a house full, but amazingly they are all playing with the lego and watching How to Train your Dragon in silence . See how long that lasts .....Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Evening all! Thank you for the lovely praise Fudgie, I'm really pleased with how the weight loss is going at the minute
Xx
This morning I started searching my diary to confirm dates of DH's seizures, and I ended up spending ages reading posts from around this time last year. I hope I don't sound self indulgent when I say this, but I really enjoyed it. It made me realise how much HASN'T changed in terms of DH and his condition and in a weird way that was comforting. It proved how much more financially stable we are now than a year ago, but that we still managed to have fun in the Easter holidays on no money at all, so I'm hoping that can be repeated this year!! It also proved once again how awesome all you lovely 'friends in the box' are, and again I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
We had an appointment with the Epilepsy Consultant today and although nothing has changed as a result in terms of medication, I feel like we came out with a whole new level of understanding. Basically he thinks that DH's 'waves of fear' are mini seizures as the part of the brain that controls fear is also the part which produces seizures so it all tallies up. Today is the third day running DH has experienced this so I'm thinking it may be building to full seizure. Hopefully I'm wrong but we will see.
Hope everyone is ok XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Evening,
Game of Thrones has finished and I wanted to pop by to say thank you for your post, you are very very kind you know.
hope you do feel better PLMBL xx you must take care of yourself, sleep and fluids mind you that might lead to annoying loo breaks in the night....hmm. well sleep any how!
thanks again XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hi PLMBL, well words fail me about @!!!!!!. They are beyond belief. I can't imagine anyone employing your OH (not meant in a nasty way), if only because his seizures aren't really under control. I have worked with people before that have had epilepsy (from birth) and that sort can be controlled. I think in the 3 years I worked with him he only had one seizure at work..
You make me realise that I have a cushy life. I read your diary to give myself a kick up the back side! So thanks for that. I hope that you can get him into the correct group as soon as possible. Looking at what is happening in the UK from afar, it seems horrible.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Buffy, you are more than welcome and thank you for your concern.
Chev I'm pleased I make you feel better about your life :rotfl:.
So I got weighed tonight, lost another pound and a half and got my 2 and a half stone award :j:j:j. Thrilled.
DH was particularly slow this morning and I'm afraid I got wound up over it. It's so hard to have a conversation with someone when a)nothing goes in, b) you have to keep saying the same thing but in different ways in the hope they understand this time and c) they don't know who you are talking about anyway despite seeing that person at least 5 days a week EVERY week. I then felt worse when DH looked like a puppy that had been kicked when I told him I found him hard work.
On the positive, we've had no 'waves of fear' today :TDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Aw shucks Granny
. Thanks. Hope all has gone well for you today Xx
We've had a nice day so far. MiL is out most of the day so she'd asked us to walk her dog at lunchtime. I said why hang around until lunchtime, lets take him out for the day, so we went to Gibside (National Trust). Walked the legs off the dog and tired the kids out in the play area and ropes course! Win win :T
DH has reconnected with an old friend who has also had a head injury due to a car crash more than ten years ago. He's ex army and well into fitness, so they have gone out running together as I type. This makes me very happy! Friend is back working and it gives DH hope, even though their injuries and subsequent problems aren't the same, there are similarities. Friend also struggled with anger issues etc for a long time but he came through it and has an understanding of how DH feels. Friend can drive (never had seizures) and is happy to come to us for them to run out in our local area, which is better for DH (and me!). Again, positives all round :T.
Still haven't heard back from First Utility after I was promised on Friday that someone would call to discuss compensation mad:. Still haven't heard back from the Work Programme people or anything re the Mandatory Reconsideration appeal (though this has only been a week and I understand it should take about 14 days). Hate having things hanging around, I'd rather have them over and done with!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
