Oh Be Lucky, you have so much to cope with, you really are remarkable considering how much you have on your plate ?
Really hope you feel better soon, you somehow need to try and find time for rest although I know how difficult it is. Wish I was round the corner to help.
Did you send DS to school in the end ? Maybe you can look for new shoes for DH at the weekend if you feel better xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh bless you PG, I wish you lived closer too but so that I could help you! You always seem so much more busy than I am! Thank you for your concern, you too beanie.
DS1 was sent to school, bullying his brother and running around with his favourite toy to aggravate him kind of sealed the deal . He does have a cough but he is nowhere near as ill as I am.
We did end up going shopping for shoes, as I thought it would be quieter than over the weekend, but it was a waste of time. The only pair DH liked weren't in stock in his size. I almost passed out in the shopping centre so we headed home and I've been resting most of the day (save for the things that needed doing like making meals etc).
Had a call back from a manager at First Utility. She thought she only had to call me to confirm that my direct debit would not be taken this month as my account was at zero, and she was rather taken aback when I told her the rest. She admitted all blame laid at their door and said she will escalate it to someone who is authorised to provide compensation. So I'm back to waiting for another phone call. Postman then brought me a cheque for £135 for the Warm Homes Discount. Apparently because my account is up to date, they have sent it to me directly instead of applying it to the balance. Hi Lucky - hope you're feeling a bit better by the time you read this. Good news re the £135.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks SA, I'm feeling a bit better today in terms of snot levels, but still got a headache/cough/temperature control problems.
DH is having a panicky 'waves of fear' morning.
I'm supposed to be at work 5-8. My Mum is on holiday and MiL is going out for a meal so wouldn't be with DH and the boys the whole time I'm out . Hopefully DH's friend can pop round but not guaranteed. Everything is screaming 'don't go to work', but I feel bad about letting down the girls that I would be working with, they are already short staffed. Will see how things are at lunch time. Xx

Sorry you're still not well, and haven't got any support. Is DH's bout of "waves of fear" related to anxiety about you being unwell?
From another perspective ref going to work - should you be going to work and spreading those nasty germs about? Staffing levels are a management issue, not something for you to worry about.
Gentle hugs
Satchmo xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Thanks both. I'm having a wee lie down now before I have to get ready for work. Plan is to go in and see how I go. I know staffing levels aren't my problem but I like the girls I work with and it's they who will suffer not the management.
DH has not mentioned the fear since this morning. Satchmo, you may be right that it's something to do with me being ill, I don't think he likes me stealing his limelight :rotfl:. No seriously, as much as he usually does have a 'funny turn' when I'm ill, this time I'm more worried that he is brewing my lurgy and it will obviously affect him more. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Well I went to work and I managed the whole shift, mainly because it was quiet not manic. DH managed not to have a seizure, so it's good news all round really
.
Off to bed soon, DS2 has a birthday party to go to at 11am in the morning. Praying I feel better tomorrow XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
