Interesting to see things from another perspective Robin, I hadn't realised that that's what I do (ie not enjoy life for fear of seizure), but yes I can see what you mean. Will have a ponder on that. I know that I avoid things like doing something for myself incase of seizure when I'm not around. In that respect I think I might be a bit of a control freak
.
Just to contradict that sentiment entirely, I'm not doing the charity walk but I intend to go to work (as long as DH doesn't get any worse between now and then). MiL is coming over while I'm out, but my Mum has offered to have the boys overnight so that I can hopefully get a good sleep after work. She will collect the boys from DH and MiL while I'm out. This is an incredibly inspiring DFW. I'm amazed at how well you've coped and still managed to lower your debt by such a significant amount.
Well done. :T0 -
Thank you Stabbald, what a lovely thing to say .
I think it helps that DH liked to spend before the accident but his outlook has changed since. Before, I used to mop up the damage as best I could without really getting anywhere, but these days he has no access to anything (which is how he wants it) and we try to pay anything we have as 'extra' off the debt. It's hard when 'extra' just means £5 or £10, but it all adds up.
I've also become the Queen at free days out and reducing what we spend on everythingXx

I went to work (horrendously busy but ok) and DH was fine with MiL :T. My Mum didn't come for the boys until 7.20pm  and they were on the phone to me at 9.30pm to say DS2 had been sick
. He still wanted to stay though and Mum thought he might have just burped while drinking juice which had caused an expulsion! I thought they'd sleep in with being up so late, but no, they were on the phone at 7am this morning!! So much for me having a lie in (though I did sleep through the night until they phoned so that has helped). They were delivered back at 10am and although it was lovely of Mum to have had them, I don't feel the benefit like I thought I would have.
DS2 is white as a sheet because he is tired and the minute they got back DS1's pal was at the door wanting to come in and play. For those reasons I'm not sure we will be doing anything today, although DH is starting to feel a bit couped up for having been in for days.
It's a beautiful day here but very windy. I've got the boys' bedding on the line and it's dancing like it's in a tornado!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Lol buffy, I'm far from amazing. Nowt special at all Xx
Well we have stayed in all day so a NSD to report. DH has been prowling like a caged animal though. He is swinging from hyper to miserable so I've basically stayed out of his way and gutted DS2's room.
Another friend has had a baby today and I didn't feel jealous when I heard. I think that's good progress!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
