Cheers for the encouragement everyone. Can I be cheeky and request some more of it though as I'm gutted to report that I GAINED half a pound last night!!
. Totally gutted as I'd had a fab week and I really don't understand it.
Anyway, had a fab night with the girls. For someone who doesn't drink though, I seemed to manage almost a full bottle of wine to myself . That'll knack the weight loss this week too!! Got home after midnight and was just drifting off when DS2 burst in having had a nightmare. He insisted on sleeping with us and I think it was about 5am when I finally got to sleep. I'm wrecked and I'm at work later so I've told DH we can't go to the gym and I'm off for a nap instead!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Listen to Granny my dear, you always struggle with weight loss when you have had a stressful week. It's a pattern with you, so don't stress over that minuscule gain as it's certainly linked to the horrid weekend you had and will right itself soon enough.
Hope you managed some rest today

Lucky a half a pound gain is neither here nor there. I'm sure it'll be gone by next week. I know just what you mean by needing some time to yourself. Like you I don't get a lot of me time and feel selfish for wanting some time out from Mr SA. But we need our time to relax a little or else we'll get ill and be no good whatsoever to our dear OH's. Just so you know I totally get where you are coming from on this point. I also noticed you mention Mr Lucky jerking in his sleep. It must be something particular to head injuries as Mr SA jerks a lot in his sleep too.
Glad you had a lovely girly night and hope you get a better night's sleep tonight!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Aw, Lucky, sorry you didn't get much sleep. Sorry your weigh in was pants. But, I'm glad you had some girlfriend time.
I had two amazing coincidences yesterday. 1) I found out a colleague (in the South East) was born in the same town as me (in the North West). 2) I met someone who was visiting from Pakistan who was from a city in Germany where my ex-DH was airlifted to after his near fatal car accident. The person had worked in ICU there (not at that particular time), and his wife had worked in the neuro-physiotherapy team. I spent a month in the city, but because I was practically glued to ex-DH's bedside, didn't see much of the beautiful buildings. I do know that the skill of the surgeons, doctors and nurses saved his life, rebuilt his face and gave him fantastic pastoral care. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Thanks Granny and SA. The weight gain still stings but just goint to keep plodding a'la beanie to see if it rights itself this week. Fingers crossed it does (despite the wine!).
Satchmo, they are big coincidences! It's stuff like that which makes you think there really might be more to life than meets the eye! I didn't realise ex-DH's accident was in Germany, that must have added to the stress for you. Was it on the road or on a race track?
I won £40 on the Scouts Bonus Ball last night :j
I got £10 refer a friend bonus from Topcashb@ck :j
Waiting for the 3rd thing, hope it's a big one.
Yesterday was a NSD :T
The other day my Sister text and invited herself for tea tonight. Then she asked if she could invite my Mum as she hasn't seen her for a while. Mum then invited her partner. DH then invited his mate.
I'm now having a dinner party for 8 tonight . Thank god for the slow cooker!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
