:A HAW, Granny, Buffy and Robin, your concern is appreciated Xx
DH remained much the same all evening. He kept panicking over stuff, repeating himself and 'going blank', eg forgetting which cupboard the juice is kept in or losing track of what he was saying and doing. All of these things are normal for him but it's scary when they are all heightened at the same time. We came to bed at about 10.30pm and he's slept soundly since. I'm awake due to back pain, but he isn't jerky or seizure-y so it all feels calm. Fingers crossed it remains that way.
We are supposed to be going out tomorrow night (tonight) with the people from Slimming World. Will have to see how he is throughout tomorrow though as to whether we still go.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Just realised yesterday was a NSD. One benefit to having a poorly child and then a poorly husband I suppose. If I'd gone to work I would have done some shopping afterwards so it wouldn't normally have been a NSD. On that note though, I did wonder if perhaps DH was brewing what DS1 has had and that's what caused his funny turn, however so far that has not been the case.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Thanks Granny. He slept all night and had a lie in this morning until almost 9am as I got up with the boys early on. He's woken up in a good mood, almost too good to the point of giggly insanity. Very weird and hard to not want to stave his head in for being so happy when I'm so miserable
.
I'm a bad person.

Lucky, please don't feel bad. All of us would feel the same, I am sure.
You need lots of hugs and support from your family. Have you got someone to talk to?

Hi Lucky - hope by now everything has settled down for you. You know I can totally empathise with you re brain injured OH. Your diary is becoming very helpful to me as I'm thinking - oh Mr SA does that and suddenly I don't feel so alone. I read between the lines and can see you're putting yourself last and I feel that I do the same thing. I feel guilty if I do something for myself. You need to take some time out for YOU.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

You are not a bad person! it's !!!!ed me off and I am not even married to him!
However you cut it, it isn't fair, the natural reaction to unfairness is GRRRRRRRRR. It is n't deliberate on anyone's part. It is what it is.
Please don't waste your energy feeling bad. It is a waste. You are incredible. OK.
that's all you need to remember.
xxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Thank you for being so kind Granny, Pooh, SA and Buffy :A. Your words mean a lot.
SA as I said on your diary, I'm so sorry you are going through it all too, but I'm glad to be of any kind of help. It makes such a difference knowing you aren't alone, so we can pull each other through it eh?!
DH returned to a more 'normal' state yesterday. We went out in the afternoon for coffee with my Mum, MiL, my Auntie and my Grandma and it was like Friday had never happened. Grandma commented on how much weight I'd lost. We then dropped the boys with MiL later on in the evening and had our night out. It was lovely to be out 'in the real world' at night as a couple. The event itself was a bit of a let down but the company was good. It was held in a social club though and as we were both just on diet coke we spent less than £5 all night :T.
I didn't sleep brilliantly last night but I slept a bit better than I have been doing. This morning when we woke up we wrapped all of Santa's presents for him so that's another thing ticked off the to-do list! MiL was going out this afternoon so we collected the boys at about 11am and came straight back home, as DH's friend was supposed to be servicing our car today. We waited and waited and eventually he turned up at 4pm when it was too dark to do it. He said he is off work on Tuesday so will do it then. As a result we stayed in all day and therefore a NSD was achieved.

I am pleased that you and DH had some time together as a couple with friends. Even now Mr P and I enjoy the chance to spend time without the 'kids'. We were home alone on Friday and Saturday night. We watched some old episodes of Downton Abbey which we missed as we didn't see the first series. NSD for us too.
We too waited in for a friend who was going to change the outside lights on the house and cottage. No show here too.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
