Hmm. Doesn't sound right. Get yourself back to the dr and make sure they take it seriously.

Take iron supplements in the meantime?

I've giving up googling ailments when I'm ill. I've put myself at deaths door that many times I'm exhausted. Though it would help you to have some answers as to why you miscarried. Hope you get an answer soon.x

Thanks Amber, totally agree re googling symptoms. It always ends up so much worse when you self diagnose with what you find on the internet!

Unfortunately, all tests re the miscarriage have come back pointing to just 'bad luck'. There was nothing chromosomally wrong with the twins/placenta or hormonally wrong with me. The blood test showed I don't have the antibody thing that would attack the foetuses. What it did show as an aside is the potential bleeding disorder, but that wouldn't have affected the pregnancy.

I'm still on iron tablets from the GP, but thanks for the suggestion.

I will go back and get checked out though as I didn't get a period for 3 months, then did for a week, stopped for a day, bled again for more than a week, stopped for about 5 days then started again. Such fun!! Xx

  • Happy December everyone!! Can't believe it's here already!!

I managed 8 NSD's in November! Chuffed with that! Not so sure it will happen in December but will try nontheless. Looking forward to doing my debt calculations in a week or so as I will definitely be in the 5's. Early Christmas present to myself lol.

On a non money topic, gutted about Paul Walker :(. 40 is far too young to die.

DS1 is still in bed. Will try again to go swimming when he wakes up and hopefully it will be more successful than yesterday's attempt! Xx

Yes sad news, thoughts go out to his family and glad, (if that's the right word) that he was doing something he so enjoyed, so was probably very happy at the end.

Well done on the nsds and fingers crossed for the £5ks

Hope you have a good day and manage to go swimming

Don't worry too much about AF, I was like that afterwards too and everything settled down in the end. Had ds the following year.

    Happy December

Sorry to hear about you having a blood condition. I hope your GP can give you some information on it. You will still need the iron tablets for a while if AF lasts for weeks too

My GP always gives me print outs. I fact if someone comes out of his surgery without a print out we all wonder why :D

You sound very well organised for Christmas. We haven't bought a thing yet.

  • Thanks Granny, that's reassuring it happened to you too but all was ok. After my second miscarriage, the one before this one, I bled for ages and that was because there was still tissue left in my womb. It's hard not to think something similar is going on.

Pooh, one of our Doctors is like that with handouts :D. I THOUGHT I was organised for Christmas but I'm not really. Still need to buy a bit more for the boys and then for everyone else. I have half of MiL's present and something for my Sister, but nothing for my Mum, Grandma or others that I buy for.

We managed to go swimming!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and it only cost £1 :D. I then spent £10 in Mr M's  Only went in for milk and chicken but was railroaded into other stuff because the boys were hungry. Then DS2 opened a box of mini flapjack bites and ate one . So I had to buy those too . You'd think I starved them! I promise I don't.

  • Glad it's not just mine DF(W)!! I was mortified.

DH and I have been to the gym this morning and this afternoon he has been doing some jobs for his Mum. Some friends of ours asked me to be a personal referee for them as they are going through the adoption process, and I spent some of the afternoon doing a telephone interview with their social worker. I hope I said all the right things but it was nothing but the truth. They are fab parents to the little ivf girl they already have, and 4 futher ivf attempts have failed to gain them a second child. They could give a child a loving home and I was honoured they asked me to do it.

Beavers tonight but it should be a fairly easy session as I have a friend coming to do keep fit with them. I am ready for the christmas break now, I can't deny it!! 2 more weeks after tonight then 3 weeks off :T.

  • Had a lovely time with DS2 at his nursery class open morning today. We made Christmas tree baubles and Christmas cards :D.

Without being too graphic my bleeding has changed so ended up at the doctor's this afternoon. I have to go back in the morning for another blood test and the results of that will determine the next steps.

DH and I both got a £10 Christmas bonus today from his DLA and my Carers Allowance which was gratefully received. I also did a bit more shopping on eb@y so I'm a little closer to being finished.

Only lost half a pound at weigh in tonight, but I just have to accept that this is the way it's going to go - big losses followed by small ones or staying the same. Looking at the bigger picture it means that I'm only half a pound away from having lost a stone and a half in ten weeks so I'm happy with that.

    Hope everyone is well Xx
