Well done on the weight loss Lucky - I knew it would come off eventually. You've done really well and ther's still time to shed a few more pounds before Christmas.

Robin I love your Saturday Bonanza idea!

Re the kids rooms - my DD is 26 and I won't go in her room. I've caught a glimpse inside on passing and that was enough. Messy is far too mild a word to describe it!

  • Thanks for the encouragement everyone :A.

Had a pants night's sleep last night. DH was snoring again and then DS2 woke me up early. I wasn't exactly sweetness and light this morning :o. I took it out on the treadmill at the gym and felt better by lunchtime.

I did use my time at the crack of dawn effectively though, and I've applied for a warm grant. Someone shared it on facebook that they were available through your gas and electricity provider, you just had to ask. A bit of googling showed that we should be eligible so I filled in their online form. If approved it's worth £135 :T. It just said they'd be in touch soon.

Received a £0 bill from LTSB :j Need to call them tomorrow to close the credit card completely.

DS2 was at a party this afternoon so we've had a busy day, but it's been a NSD :D.

Fingers crossed for the grant, how long to you hear if you have got it.

Good feeling when you close a CC, means one more out of the way.

Hope you have a better nights sleep.x

Thanks Amber! I don't know when I'll hear about the Warm Home Discount, it just said they'd be in touch in due course and they may ask to see supporting documentation. I could practically tick every box though, DLA, ESA, Carers Allowance, CTC, children under 5, children under 18 in full time education .... I must sound like a right dosser!! :o.

Rang LTSB and account is now closed :T. Another one bites the dust :D.

Slept like a log last night!! Xx
