Well done on the £25 Lucky. You are really getting ahead on the Xmas front. I use to be the same when my kids were little - happy days!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Bit of a rubbish day yesterday. DH was in a horrible mood which put me in a horrible mood. He's taken a dislike to our cat and wants to get rid of her. I'm sick of saying no. She's 10 and we made a commitment by getting her, and contrary to his beliefs she is not doing everything she can to wind him up!! I then said I'd be hard pushed to chose between him and the cat and that wasn't very well received!!! Felt a bit down most of the day which wasn't helped by the internet going off and a 45 minute call on my mobile to talktalk who insisted there was no problem. Then heard lots of my friends were having problems too but talktalk still insisted no blame on their part. It's magically back on this morning so their engineer has been cancelled for next week. I was holding my breath over that one anyway because they said there'd be a £50 charge if we were at fault .
Last night we had a district Beavers event which went down well but I could've done without. We didn't win but we took part and that's what matters.
Today DH is helping lay a floor at my sister's house. I think that's a good move to give us both a bit of space. Work tonight so even more space then, but it's my last Saturday night as they are changing me to a Friday from next week which I think will be better for me.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Hope your weekend is proving better than the end of last week, Lucky. (((Hugs)))
Wondering whether DH wants rid of cat to make space for a different animal companion?
(Apologies, but had a little chuckle at your response; oww! ..Hope DH either forgives you or forgets).

Thanks everyone. I'm just about clinging on to my sanity with my finger tips!
Kids wound me up with their constant fighting yesterday. They didn't want to go out and I was sick of the sound of my own voice by the time I went to work for a break!! DH didn't fair a lot better at my Sister's. He and his best mate had offered to lay her new floor, thinking it was clip together laminate and it wouldn't take long. Turns out it was real wood flooring, all small bits, which needed glued or nailed down! They only got half of it done yesterday and had to go back today to finish it off. They are still there now.
To be honest I almost didn't let DH go today. First thing this morning he was panicky and talking of his usual 'waves of fear'. I asked him if he'd taken his tablets and he replied "what tablets?" When I explained that I meant the tablets he's taken every day for over 2 years I was met with " where do I keep those?". He came round enough for me to agree he could go but I've been on edge since. This is what worries me about if/when they say he's to go back to work. Some days he's ok, some days he's not and even just a non stressful task such as he's doing (for a relative, with a friend) is too much for him.
Today I took the boys to the park. Cold or not they needed to let off steam and I wasn't going to have another day like yesterday! We had a nice time and then met my Mum and Grandma for drinks at a cafe. They paid so today can be claimed as a NSD. Grandma is looking much better these days :T.
Mum has offered to have the boys overnight next Saturday :j. I feel like a bad Mum but I can't wait for a break.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

PLMBL there is no way on this earth that you could be described as a bad mum, so we'll have no more of that negative-speak missy! Rumbustious boys often have bigger energy reserves than their homes can accommodate, matched by selective hearing.
Enjoy your Saturday night break, especially as it will coincide with your change of working day.
Glad to hear your Grandma is much better, and that you had a lovely time. Your family/coffee time obviously means a lot to Grandma, and I'll bet she'd describe it as priceless. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Do NOT feel like a bad mum! You deserve a break
I love my kids as we all do, but we all need some time off :T I get my time now when the kids are at school thank god or I really would have cracked this month with everything going on and with DH away!
I hope your DH is home soon and is ok. It really must be such a worry for you
Glad you had a lovely time at the park thoughI take mine in all weathers so long as it's dry enough for them to play
nothing a hat and scarf can't fix
