Bah to the car tax, mine was a similar price!
What a shame you can't take your mum up on the offer to have the boys, although if it's just you and ds1 going can she not have ds2? And you have a bit of one to one time with ds1? (and half a break)

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it (maybe a good idea not to let boys see how it's made before they've accepted that it does actually taste quite nice, though).

Thanks everyone. Yes, I did think about just DS2 staying over but I've spoken to him about it and he doesn't want to stay without his brother
.
Aunt Flo has finally arrived after a 3 month absence :j. So pleased to be getting back to normal, but now she is here she can leave :rotfl:. DH and I have decided not to extend our family any further though. I know this is the most sensible decision but it still makes me a little sad. Perhaps one day I will foster or get a job working with babies, but for now I shall just concentrate on the 2 I'm enormously lucky to have.
DS2 went back to nursery this morning so DH and I made it to the gym. No plans to go anywhere else today apart from the Remembrance Day rehearsal at church tonight, so hopefully it will be another NSD.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

When dh and I decided enough kids (we couldn't afford what we had!) I was happy as i'd just had 2 babies one after the other and didn't ever want to go near another baby again after the sleepless nights etc :rotfl: so sent him straight off for the snip. Now they are at school I have pangs of broodiness every now and then but it does soon pass and I think finally I can sleep at night and I can go and do things for myself. We can't change our mind as i'm not paying for a reversalso I hope your contraception is a little more flexible than ours, just in case you ever want to try again down the road.
Well done on getting to the gym. Now the weather has turned i've all but given up with exerciseit's too cold!

Cheers DF(W). DH said again this morning that he will have the snip, but I said I wanted to wait a bit longer before he does so we can be sure of our decision. I'm like 96%, so I just want to be able to think again in a few months when I'm more stable emotionally too. Financially it makes sense not to have any more and certainly from an 'enough on my plate already' point of view. Hopefully one day I will have lots of Grandchildren to make up for it!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL,
Could your mum have the kids next weekend so at least youve got a break to look forward to?
Im the same as you both DH and I have decided we dont want anymore either, but every now and again I change my mind for about a day until DD2 starts playing up again :rotfl:!! Its sensible to wait a bit just incase though xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks Mummy! I will discuss with my Mum when she can next have the boys when I see her tomorrow. In a couple of weeks I'm working the Friday night not the Saturday, so if she could have them that Saturday I'd have a proper night off! Imagine that!!
Remembrance rehearsal was *ahem* challenging. Hope it all goes more smoothly on Sunday.
NSD achieved.
