MiT, can you use the Asd@ price gaurantee up there? You input your receipt number online and if it would have been cheaper elsewhere you can download a voucher for the difference off your next shop.
I'm a supermarket tart, I use them all! Obviously I use Mr A's because I work there and I get a discount, but I'm actually closer to Mr T's and there are bits there that I can't get elsewhere. I quite often get my diesel from there so the clubcard points build up. So far this year I've had my English Herritage family membership for free through their deals, and now this Christmas present too. I still have some vouchers left also.
My gym is next to Mr M's so I use them too if I'm that way, usually just for top ups, and we have a Mr Al's not too far away that I use if we are passing. Told you I was a tart!
We've just stayed in today and it's been the first NSD of the month. It's been so cold but I avoided the heating until 4pm when everyone's noses went blue! Despite the cold I've managed to get a load of washing dried on the line as it's been so windy but it is now thawing out around the house as it was practically frozen stiff when I brought it in.
DH has been a bit vague this afternoon and then submerged himself in his xbox game. That's not as good as it sounds as he gets zoned in and then angry if the kids distract him. Ho hum.
Think I might have cramp. Any bets on whether this is actually the start of AF after 12 weeks absence or another false alarm?! Wont hold my breath.

DFW you're right I'll just shoosh or I might just get what I wish for and they are more expensive than ASDA. PLMBL you are a tart right enough
. I am a bit of a tart too but need to get more into it and start getting the best price for everything.

PLMBL, I've been reading your diary for a while and just de-lurking a little. Hope you manage to get a little me - time soon, is there anyone who could look after your family for a regular couple of hours each week? I'm sure knowing you had some time to go for a cuppa and read a book or something would keep you going a bit. Take care x0

Welcome Doobop, nice to have you along.
I go round in circles with the time off thing. I could ask MiL to help out so I could slope off, but then I feel guilty about having the need to leave them. I'd be spending money we haven't got and if I was going to do something nice I'd rather share it with the others. If they all went out I'd probably end up doing housework or something. I feel like a right whingebag but I can't settle on anything.
Going to bed in the hope I feel more upbeat tomorrow. This down mood has hung around far too long. It all just feels too much sometimes.
Kids back at school tomorrow as long as they are well enough. They both started snotting and sniffing before bed. What a way to end half term!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I don't know if this is the sort of thing you'd be interested in, but is there a yoga class near you?
The one near me (which I haven't been to for far too long - I have exactly the sort of body I deserve) is a lovely combination of relaxation and stretching. You're encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes early so you can lie down and relax before it starts, then it's deep breathing exercises before the stretches begin. You're reminded to go at your own pace and there's no competition as to who can or can't touch their nose to their knees, some balancing poses and cool-down. I tend to leave feeling very 'zen'.
There are loads of different kinds of yoga and I've no idea which this one comes under, but I like it - especially as there isn't much in the way of chanting, which I'm not really into.
I know it's difficult for you to get away, but you need to keep looking after yourself as well.
Take care.0 -
Thanks for the though JustAboutThere, I've never tried yoga so I can look into that
.
Well today didn't start well. I think it was National Eejit Day or something and most of the drivers on the road had found their driving licences in a lucky dip bag. We eventually got to the gym in one piece and had a decent work out. When we got home though I found the cat had been unwell (both ends!) in the hall and the lounge:mad:. It wasn't so bad on the wood floor but the shush on the rug was horrendous.
This afternoon went a bit better though and I've cheered up slightly! Made it through Beavers and am now parked on the sofa watching soaps. Rock n roll :rotfl:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I second the yoga thing :T:j (<---doing moves such as that!) The one I started doing is proper hard going though and i'm thinking of finding an easier onemy friend no longer wants to go I don't think so perfect opportunity for me to find one on a different day and perhaps aimed more at the beginner
