    Hi Lucky

I read in the paper today that there's a Dream Flags event at Cragside tomorrow, and it's just £4.50 for the family. 10am - 5pm. Design and create your own Himalayan prayer flag as part of Cragside's 150th anniversary celebrations. Follow a hidden path up to the tree hut where you an display your flag.

Hope you get some me-time, and that the loo roll lasts. Can DS1 buy one at the local shop (the one he can walk to)?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Thanks for the info Satchmo, will look into that. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow which will be a vast improvement on today!

I ended up going to Mr T's this afternoon for the loo rolls. I left the boys and DH at home as all seemed well, it was pouring down and I'd heard their clubcard boost was back on toys. I doubled up £15 of clubcard vouchers to £30 in the scheme. That meant I could get something DS2 wants for free to put away for Christmas. Santa is definitely happy with that!
I also had a 60p off any p@mpers wipes till spit. I usually by own brand as they are cheaper (even taking the coupon into consideration), but I noticed a handbag size packet of p@mpers wipes for 49p. Tried my luck and coupon was accepted, meaning free wipes and another 11p off the rest of my shopping.
I grabbed a few extra bits which including the toy and the loo rolls took me over £40, so I also got to use a £5 off a £40 spend coupon which I wouldn't have been able to use otherwise, and a double clubcard voucher! Walked out of the shop feeling smug, and spotted 10p lying on the ground which I snaffled. Got home and all was still well so massive success all round!!

Then work was horrendous. Soooooo busy and just little old me on by myself when we normally struggle with 3 of us on!! Thank goodness its over and I'm home now Xx

Lucky you we've got tatco overkill down here :(! They've priced out lots of independant stores and so far they have a HUGE mega store north of the town, another only a teensy bit smaller nearer me on south side of town and around 3/4 smaller ones in town and then I was driving to PO yesterday and another one is springing up :eek::eek:! They're taking over  sorry i'll stop moaning now, cos you can be sure i'd moan like you if we didn't have any :rotfl:
