Thank you so much for your replies JustAboutThere and Starnac :A It's nice to know others have felt the same and I'm not a total nutcase
.
I've thrown myself into jobs this afternoon (paper shredding anyone? Very cathartic!!) and I feel a bit better. DS2 asked to go to bed at 6.30pm!!! I may take a leaf out of his book and have an early night too. I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights so I'm probably feeling worse for being tired.
Haven't even had tea yet though so first things first. I NEVER miss food unless it's a crisis :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi P - can't believe the thoughtless comment from your MIL!!!!! I had a miscarriage many years ago and know how traumatic it is. When my OH's mum was alive she often had the knack of saying something tactless. I'm sure she didn't mean any harm - she just didn't think - but still!!!
Hope you get a decent night's sleep tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
(((Hugs))) Lucky m'dear - be strong; you are SuperMum, you can cope.. :smileyhea0

I should actually write this down on a post-it and stick it somewhere I can see it often!:)

Oh! Thanks for that!!
Thankfully 2D and 3D cost the same for us. You just need to pay £1 for the glasses but you get to keep them for future shows
And :eek: to MIL!!!! They usually have the best intentions at heart but it never seems to have the effect that they're wanting unfortunately
*hug*
Hope you slept wellWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Massive hugs for you from me plmbl. I know exactly how much thoughtless comments can hurt. I also know that nothing that anyone says or does is really going to make a difference to how you feel. Ditto. Really brightened up my evening thank you!
Thanks for all the concern guys. I'm still feeling up and down but I'm hoping it will get better after next weekend. If it doesn't I'll talk to my Dr. I've admitted how I'm feeling to a couple of RL friends too so it was nice to talk it through.
I actually went to the docs today (about my foot). Must remember not to make any Thurs morn appointments again if I'm feeling fragile - it's baby clinic day!! Anyway, I've got new tablets for my feet to see if they help and if not I will be given injections
This afternoon DH helped MIL's friend in her garden and she gave him £10 for doing so. We also won £10 on the lottery last night so I'm on the lookout for our 3rd windfall. I'm hoping the next one will have a few more zeros after it though.
