Ooh yes, well done on your forth star, Lucky! :D

And boo to childish accidents and ailments - hope both your boys are feeling chirpier soon.
  • Thank you PG and Robin :A.

DS2 has forgotten his hand 'hurts' and is using it normally now thank goodness! DS1 was not right about it all being 'out', and has been sick twice since I last posted :(. We are obviously staying in today which at least means I should achieve a NSD. If I do, it'll only be my second of the month :o. No wonder we are skint!

DH is moody today. One minute he's  then he's :(. Don't know if I can deal with it all today :(. He doesn't cope well with being cooped up, however he has been out for a run this morning so I thought that would have taken the edge off. Maybe it's something I've done (or not done!) but he keeps saying he is "fine" so I don't know.

Aww; sometimes a young child's short memory is a blessing, isn't it? :)

Oh dear; not so good. :( Small sips of Dialorite? Ditto honey? Plus rigorous hygiene and fingers crossed that the rest of you don't catch it! (Eccinacea?).

He needs a project. Spotted this on Am@zon:

..Thought of your DH and DS1 - but DH's birthday isn't for ages, is it?
Have you got any [untaxing] DIY that DH could sort out; something that would improve his sense of self-worth once he's achieved it? :)
  • Thanks for all that Robin. DH's birthday is June and DS1's is September so not too far away, and I can look into getting them a project. It will be nice if they can work together but I'm also a tad nervous about the idea as they wind each other up easily with being so similar!! We've just finished decorating the kitchen and we need to make a start in our bedroom so there are lots of DIY jobs waiting for DH, he just isn't in the mood to do them. He has been better this afternoon, but he's actually been very weepy (at things on tv). We are very much swinging through the emotions today!

This afternoon we've all snuggled together to watch Rise of The Guardians which was a nice film. DS1 has been sick yet again bless him. He certainly wont be at school tomorrow! He's actually quite disappointed about that as they have swimming on Mondays!

? could he have pulled a ligament/sprained finger ring
111 or see local chemist - may need a finger strap!:o
  • That's what I was worried about Tuna, but genuinely it's just a scratch. Totally forgotten about :p. i hope you DH's op goes well today and your DS had a good birthday Xx

DS1 is fighting fit today :T. Thanks to the 48 hour rule at school though he has to be off until Wednesday! I understand why completely, but it's a bit  that he's missing 2 days when he is perfectly well enough to go.

We managed our NSD yesterday so that's 2 for the month :o. Better than none I suppose! Today won't be a NSD as I need food shopping.

My sis is coming for tea tonight instead of Wed as she is helping me at Beavers tonight. She is going to do a Deaf Awareness talk and teach them all our promise in sign language. :D

Hi P. - glad to hear all is back to calm in your household. Children are down one minute and then back up and running the next - a lesson to be learned there I think!

    Hi there,
I've been away a bit as looking after DGD with DS3 while DD has a few training days. I had forgotten how tiring/tying it is. But we are having a great time.
I have been trying to find things for DH to do but he is sitting watching quiz programs all day which just winds me up when we have so much to be done in the house, AND we have the materials. He is 'fine' too, but obviously not.
Just thought I would share this with you so you know I am with you on this wierd (for both of us) journey through life. :D

I love the idea to teach signing to the beavers. I have been to baby signing and think we should all learn it.
