:j to DS weeing on the toilet!
PLMBL the art of lack of sleep is to pretend it is actually the norm, trick my mind. I've been lucky and having a few good nights, Mrs Hinge is the one who is hardcore!

Thank you both. I'm flagging and feeling really quite down, hoping it's just tiredness but I'm just feeling like everything is a drama and I can't be bothered any more.
Heard back from DWP earlier today, they don't think they owe me anything backdated. I still think they do so they've agreed to look at it again. If they think I've been earning £65 and have therefore been taking £45 off DH's benefit (first £20 is disregarded), but I've only been earning £19.50 so nothing should have been taken off, then how can they not owe us anything? Awaiting a call back at some point with their revised findings.
DS2 still has not been to the toilet today
DS1's friend called round to play at 11.30am and is still here. I need to drop DH's suit at the dry cleaners so I'll be kicking him out soon. Sis coming for tea later too.
Hope everyone is having a good day XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

DWP are "forward counting not backwards counting" so they don't owe me anything yet apparently. I need to send them the payslip that I will collect from work tomorrow evening and then they "will owe us something". I give up.
DS2 still refused to go to the loo all day even though he was in obvious pain. He screamed and screamed to get down from the toilet and then wet himself 5 minutes later. I give up.
DH and I have had a massive argument. He had an unfair go at DS1 and when I told him I thought he was wrong he had a go at me instead. He was so vicious and nasty I just lost it and shouted back at him. I told him I didn't have to put up with all this and not many would, but he could feel free to try and find someone else that would if he wanted to. I give up.
Hey ho, tomorrow is another day XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL. Sorry to hear you've had a bad day. I've been lurking here for a while and you put up with so much. You are fantastic!
With regards to DS2. He will do it in his own time. I remember my DD. I tried and tried and tried and she just refused to wee on the potty. She would ask for her nappy on to go or just wee on the floor after keeping it in for so long. My mum kept telling me not to push her and that it would click. One evening we were putting her to bed and she said her bum hurt. I put cream on it (no redness or anything to explain her pain) and in exasperation I told her in the morning she wasn't having a nappy on. The next day she didn't have a nappy on all day and it just clicked. My mum was very restrained with the "I told you so's"
Anyway the point I'm trying to make (and not very well) is that he will get it. Try not to push the issue or you will both get stressed over it. He will get there.

Thank you Starnac! Please stay out of lurkdom now
.
I'm going to talk to DS2 about it again tomorrow and see what he wants to do. As long as he is done by September when he starts nursery then I suppose there is no harm done in going back in nappies for a while (except money wise!).Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

*hugs*
Really hope you and DH are ok again! I hate arguments that end up like that
I'm sure DS2 will twig when he's ready! Try not to stress meantime.
Have a good dayWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thank you HaW! Feeling much more positive today and will try to stop being a moaner. I've done way too much of that over the last couple of days!!
DH got up with the boys this morning and gave me a lie in. He's trying really hard and is much calmer today after our bust up yesterday.
Gave DS2 the choice of nappy or pants today and he chose pants! Still no wee so far though.
It's really cloudy and overcast here today so I've agreed to softplay after lunch. They want to go to the cheap one in the leisure centre so I can't complain at that. Got a pan of 'bottom of the fridge veg' and lentil soup on the go so we'll be off after that.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I needed to come out of Lurkdom to congratulate you on how well you manage to bring fun to your family while coping with so much. I have read your diary from the start and I am in awe of how you do it.
I wish I had half your stamina and beyond the moaning which in my opinion isn't very much you sound very happy.
Wishing you and your lovely family happy timesTry to be Happy while saving money!0 -

Not been around much Be Lucky, sorry ! You know how it is.:o
Just wanted to say I'm glad you seem happier today and you managed a lie in . Whoopee ! Sorry to hear about the argument, I really feel for you. I hate arguments like those but I am happy to hear today is looking better
Agree with the others I wouldn't stress too much about DS2 . Its just giving you something extra to worry and stress about that you really dont need in the grand scheme of things.
A little story for you about wee ! - " Once upon a time when DD1 was a tiny girl, her Daddy had the honour of looking after her for a whole day, all on his own while her Mummy jumped on the train and went to London to work. She was looking forward to this time with her Daddy and he with her. She was the proud owner of a beautiful green toy tub, full of her favourite things. She decided that the best fun she could have with her Daddy that day would be to empty the toys one by one, shown them to him , pile them on the floor, shown them to him again and then load them back in the tub. She was, at this time being potty trained and had been good as gold with no accidents at all for at least a week. Once the toys were loaded back in the tub, her Daddy went off to the kitchen to make lunch and left her playing. When he returned he found DD1 had climbed inside the tub and was sitting amongst the toys with a very smug smile on her face indeed , giggling mischievously. When Daddy investigated further he discovered that DD had done the biggest wee imaginable inside the tub and all over her toys ! Cue a frantic phone call to Mummy as to what was he to do, how was he too clean each and every one of the toys and sort her out all at the same time ? ! :rotfl: " He swears to this day that she planned the whole thing and it was a while before they were left alone together for a whole day unsupervised !!xx
