Hi Be Lucky, :hello:
Yes indeed, it sounds like you've had some lovely family days recently, and how wonderful that as soon as DS1 changed his attitude he was rewarded by finding the golden egg - if that had happened to one of my lot [when they were young] all his siblings would have congratulated him on his good karma! (And I like to think they would not have been jealous, lol).0 -
Fab way of looking at it Robin, and I will be sure to point that out to DS1 tomorrow! :T
Today the four of us went swimming for £1We went to the pool at the gym DH and I go to so DH was free as a member, I was free as his carer, DS2 was free as he's under 5 so we just had to pay for DS1. The only other charge was 40p for 2 lockers! We then got the boys a McDonalds for lunch, but that was low spend too as we had some instant win vouchers from their monopoly promotion.
Went to fat class tonight and was really pleased to find I've stayed the same. No mean feat after the stressful week I've had and the meal out etc. Need to get my head back in the game this week though as next tuesday is my last weigh in before the wedding, which was my first target. I wanted 28lbs off and I'm on 20lbs with only 1 week to go. Still pleased with my progress though.
Realised earlier that my water direct debit won't be coming out this month either (stupid me thought you only got one month off not two doh!) so I'm £39 better off than I thought I was. This means I now have .... £39!! :rotfl: Roll on payday on Friday!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Mummytogirls and HAW!
DH needed bloods taken at the docs this morning so we were up and out fairly early. The sun was shining so we went straight from there to the park which is the first time we've been to that one this year. The kids had a fab time and it didn't cost a penny. We had thought of going to an English Heritage property and paying for an annual membership (taking the money out of the 'school summer holidays pot'), but I've found out that I can convert my clubcard vouchers so I'm thinking of doing that instead. The only downside to that is by the time they arrive we won't be able to visit anywhere EH over the Easter break.
We then called at Mr T's as my sister is coming for tea tonight (just waiting for her to arrive now actually) and I needed a 'few bits'. Imagine my horror when the cashier said £36  I can't get over how expensive things are. The main culprits being the fruit I think, I really didn't buy anything unnecessary or extravagant! So now we have £3 for tomorrow. Wonder if I can make it a NSD!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sounds like a great day
If it's an annual membership, then you'll get the summer hols, Halloween, Christmas and next Easter out of it so not a bad investment when you think about it
Crazy the prices of grub these days!!Me and OH count £20 as a 'big' shop, but that's coz we get the majority out of the reduced section. If it wasn't for that I dunno how we'd manage
Repeat after me: tomorrow WILL be a NSDWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Sis gave me £4 bless her, so I now have £7. I'm rich :rotfl:
Will still try to have a NSD tomorrow XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sounds like you had a good day
Membership of heritage site sounds like a good idea. Sometimes when you take out membership following a visit you can be refunded the cost of your tickets so check that out. Also I think Mr T are now doing instant printable deals so you may be able to make use of membership immediately
Your sis is a darling, isn't she, clearly made from the same caring mould as you

Your sons are Easter egg magnets! I demand to know their secrets.
20lbs weight loss is amazing, and sometimes a hold is as good as a loss if you'e had a crazy week. I'm carrying some excess hot cross bun weight, hoping that'll fall off of it's own accord. :rotfl:Barclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.
