Well I just dropped a full toilet roll down the looHope this isn't an indication of how the rest of the day will go :rotfl:. Good job I only buy cheap loo rolls, I'd have been devestated if it had a puppy on it!!
Day off today :j. Just waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can hang everything out on the line for the first time in days, as it's actually dry and bright today. Then I'm heading out to do some food shopping and pay a bill. My Auntie gave me 2 massive sacks of clothes she no longer wants and I've sorted out what I want, what's going on ebay, and the rest I'm going to weigh in this morning. Whatever I get for them can be added on to what I'm paying off the credit card.
I don't need too much shopping as it's DH's birthday tomorrow and our wedding anniversary on Thurs so we have a couple of meals out with family planned. We've chosen places with Happy Hours so shouldn't be too expensive and it's all been budgeted for. Can't remember the last time we ate out! (I'm enjoying the excitement about going out and it feeling such a treat, it happened so regularly pre LBM that it had started to get boring ).Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

The clothes weigh in got us £6.70 which was duly added to the credit card payment I made straight afterwards :j. I love free money
(even if I do owe it straight back out again!).
Spent a bit more in Mr A's than expected as DH insisted on buying me some flowers for our anniversary! I argued that we had decided not to buy each other anything and the money could be better spent on bills etc but he said I deserved themand bought them anyway. Bless him though he 'downgraded' to the £5 bunch :rotfl::T.
Got weighed tonight and I've put a pound on. Could make excuses about hormones etc, but think its more to do with the cake addiction I developed this week
. Have taken my eye off the ball since the slimathon ended so I need to get back on the straight and narrow .... after my meals out this week .

OOOOHHH and I forgot to say that when I first did the snowball calculator, my DFD was end of 2023 . I've just done it again tonight out of interest now that I have moved stuff to 0%, and it's brought the DFD forward to September 2018. :j.
It's spurred me on to keep bringing that date closer.

Bless you splodge, :A thank you Xx
DH has had a good birthday today (34!!) but a bit more spendy than we thought it would be. After I finished work this morning we went to the local garden centre with a free softplay and had cream scones for lunch. Lunch cost £11  but thankfully the patio weed scraper thing that DH had wanted to go for was half price at £6.49, so a little saving there. Our meal out tonight cost £37.50 including tip, and I haven't decided yet if that's good or not, as it's less than £10 per person but I'd hoped to spend around £30. It may well have been happy hour on the food but they made up their prices on the drinks!! (and the others in the party may have paid less than theirs actually came to ).
Anyway, on the positive side at least DH knew it was his birthday! Last year he was on another planet in hospital and kept looking at all the birthday cards around him saying 'who's birthday is it?' every 5 mins .
OOOOHHHH and for his present (and mine, though my birthday is not til September) we were given 2 tickets to go see Nickleback in concert by DH's best friend :T:T. He is coming too and his teenage daughter. So generous of him, will have to get my thinking cap on of how to repay him!

In some respects, the money doesn't matter, the fact that OH could celebrate his birthday, must be priceless. good on you both. And awww about the flowers. Wish my OH would do that sometimes....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Very true chev! There have been plenty of moments in the last year or so when we didn't think we'd get where we are today .
So today is our 9th wedding anniversary and between our wonderful families we have been given £120 :j. We haven't done anything special as of yet and my sister has had to cancel on us tonight so we are going to get a take-away. We haven't had one in over a year and I figured it was a cheaper option than going out for a meal and paying for drinks and puddings etc. DH doesn't drink alcohol and I only do when I'm out with the girls so we can toast ourselves with pop or coffee later :rotfl:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. The takeaway last night cost £14.10, WAY cheaper than a meal out would have been :j. We just chilled out and watched a dvd when the kids went to bed, it was a nice relaxing night.
Today has gone without too much fuss, just work this morning and housework this afternoon. We were going to go into town to see the olympic torch tonight, but it's chucked it down all day so we decided not to bother. About 10 mins after the latest possible time we could have left to get into town in time, the sun came out. Typical! I didn't put my name down for a shift at job 2 tonight either so we could go! I'm pleased to be off obviously but I won't be so chuffed come payday.
DH been a bit  today but it's been the first time in what feels like quite a few days so hopefully it's just a one off.
And I paid another £10 off what I owe my sis so that's now £960.
